ദാവീദിന്റെ സങ്കീര്ത്തനം [1] “എന്റെ ദൈവവും രാജാവും ആയ അങ്ങയെ ഞാന് പ്രകീര്ത്തിക്കും. തിരുനാമത്തെ ഞാന് എന്നും വാഴ്ത്തും.

ദിനംതോറും അങ്ങയെ ഞാന് സ്തുതിക്കും; തിരുനാമത്തെ ഞാന് എന്നേക്കും പ്രകീര്ത്തിക്കും.

സര്വേശ്വരന് വലിയവനും അത്യന്തം സ്തുത്യനുമാണ്. അവിടുത്തെ മഹത്ത്വം ബുദ്ധിക്ക് അഗോചരമത്രേ.

തലമുറ അടുത്ത തലമുറയോട് അവിടുത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ പ്രഘോഷിക്കും. അങ്ങു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ച മഹാകാര്യങ്ങള് അവര് പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.

അവിടുത്തെ പ്രതാപത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സുറ്റ മഹത്ത്വത്തെയും അദ്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളെയും ഞാന് ധ്യാനിക്കും.

അങ്ങയുടെ വിസ്മയാവഹമായ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ശക്തിയെപ്പറ്റി, മനുഷ്യര് പ്രസ്താവിക്കും. അങ്ങയുടെ മഹത്ത്വം ഞാന് പ്രഘോഷിക്കും.

അവിടുത്തെ ബഹുലമായ നന്മയെ അവര് പ്രകീര്ത്തിക്കും. അവര് അങ്ങയുടെ നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ച് ഉച്ചത്തില് പാടും.

സര്വേശ്വരന് കാരുണ്യവാനും കൃപാലുവുമാകുന്നു. അവിടുന്നു ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനും സ്നേഹസമ്പന്നനുമാണ്.

സര്വേശ്വരന് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും നല്ലവനാകുന്നു. തന്റെ സര്വസൃഷ്ടികളോടും അവിടുന്നു കരുണ കാണിക്കുന്നു.

പരമനാഥാ, അങ്ങയുടെ സകല സൃഷ്ടികളും അങ്ങേക്കു സ്തോത്രം അര്പ്പിക്കും. അങ്ങയുടെ സകല ഭക്തന്മാരും അങ്ങയെ വാഴ്ത്തും.

അങ്ങയുടെ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ മഹത്ത്വത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അവര് സംസാരിക്കും. അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തിയെ അവര് വിവരിക്കും.

അങ്ങനെ അവര് അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തമായ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും, അങ്ങയുടെ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ മഹത്ത്വപൂര്വമായ പ്രതാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും, എല്ലാ മനുഷ്യരെയും അറിയിക്കും.

അങ്ങയുടെ രാജത്വം ശാശ്വതമാണ്. അങ്ങയുടെ ആധിപത്യം എന്നേക്കും നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു. വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളില് അവിടുന്നു വിശ്വസ്തനാകുന്നു. സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളിലും അവിടുന്നു കൃപാലുവുമാകുന്നു.

നിരാശരായിരിക്കുന്നവരെ സര്വേശ്വരന് സഹായിക്കുന്നു. വീണുപോകുന്നവരെ അവിടുന്നു എഴുന്നേല്പിക്കുന്നു.

എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങയെ പ്രത്യാശയോടെ നോക്കുന്നു. യഥാസമയം അങ്ങ് അവര്ക്ക് ആഹാരം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

തൃക്കൈ തുറന്നു നല്കുമ്പോള് അവര് സംതൃപ്തരാകുന്നു.

സകല വഴികളിലും അവിടുന്നു നീതിനിഷ്ഠനും, സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളിലും അവിടുന്നു കൃപാലുവുമാകുന്നു.

സര്വേശ്വരന് തന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് പരമാര്ഥഹൃദയത്തോടെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കു സമീപസ്ഥനാകുന്നു.

അവിടുത്തെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ ആഗ്രഹം അവിടുന്നു നിറവേറ്റുന്നു. അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേട്ട് അവരെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

തന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന ഏവരെയും അവിടുന്നു പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാല് സകല ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെയും അവിടുന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കും.

ഞാന് സര്വേശ്വരനെ പ്രകീര്ത്തിക്കും. സര്വജീവജാലങ്ങളും അവിടുത്തെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തട്ടെ!
