ഗായകസംഘനേതാവിന്; ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം [1] ഭൂവാസികളേ, ആഹ്ലാദംകൊണ്ട് ആര്പ്പിട്ട് ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിന്.

അവിടുത്തെ നാമത്തിന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം പ്രകീര്ത്തിക്കുവിന്. സ്തുതികളര്പ്പിച്ച് അവിടുത്തെ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടുത്തുവിന്.

അവിടുത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് എത്ര അദ്ഭുതകരം, അവിടുത്തെ ശക്തിപ്രഭാവത്താല് ശത്രുക്കള് തിരുമുമ്പില് കീഴടങ്ങുന്നു.

സര്വഭൂവാസികളും അവിടുത്തെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. അവര് അങ്ങേക്കു സ്തോത്രം പറയുന്നു. തിരുനാമത്തിനു കീര്ത്തനം ആലപിക്കുന്നു.

ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് വന്നുകാണുവിന്. മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയില് അവിടുത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് എത്ര അദ്ഭുതകരം.

അവിടുന്നു സമുദ്രത്തെ ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലമാക്കി. അവര് കാല്നടയായി നദി കടന്നു. അവിടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളില് നാം സന്തോഷിച്ചു.

അവിടുന്നു തന്റെ ശക്തിപ്രഭാവത്താല് എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു. അവിടുന്നു അന്യജനതകളെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു. അവിടുത്തേക്ക് എതിരെ മത്സരിക്കുന്നവര് അഹങ്കരിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.

ജനതകളേ, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന്. അവിടുത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദം ഉയരട്ടെ.

അവിടുന്നു നമ്മെ ജീവനോടെ കാക്കുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ കാല് വഴുതുവാന് അവിടുന്നു സമ്മതിക്കുകയില്ല.

ദൈവമേ, അവിടുന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു, വെള്ളി ഉലയില് ഉരുക്കി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവിടുന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ പരിശോധിച്ചു.

അവിടുന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ കെണിയില് കുരുക്കി, ദുര്വഹമായ ഭാരം ഞങ്ങളുടെ ചുമലില് വച്ചു.

ശത്രുക്കള് ഞങ്ങളെ ചവിട്ടിമെതിക്കാന് അവിടുന്ന് ഇടയാക്കി. തീയിലും വെള്ളത്തിലും കൂടി ഞങ്ങള് കടക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു. എങ്കിലും ഇപ്പോള് അവിടുന്നു ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഐശ്വര്യം നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളുമായി ഞാന് അങ്ങയുടെ ആലയത്തില് വരും; എന്റെ നേര്ച്ചകള് ഞാന് നിറവേറ്റും.

എന്റെ കഷ്ടകാലത്ത് ഞാന് നേര്ന്ന നേര്ച്ചകള്തന്നെ.

കൊഴുത്ത മൃഗങ്ങളെ ഞാന് ഹോമയാഗമായി അര്പ്പിക്കും; ഞാന് കാളകളെയും കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാരെയും യാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കും. അവയുടെ ധൂമം ആകാശത്തിലേക്കുയരും.

ദൈവഭക്തരേ, വന്നു കേള്ക്കുവിന്, അവിടുന്ന് എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്തത് ഞാന് വിവരിക്കാം.

ഞാന് അവിടുത്തോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു, എന്റെ നാവുകൊണ്ട് ഞാന് അവിടുത്തെ സ്തുതിച്ചു.

എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദുഷ്ടത കുടികൊണ്ടിരുന്നെങ്കില്, സര്വേശ്വരന് എന്റെ പ്രാര്ഥന കേള്ക്കുമായിരുന്നില്ല.

എന്നാല് അവിടുന്ന് തീര്ച്ചയായും എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ പ്രാര്ഥന അവിടുന്നു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

ദൈവം വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടട്ടെ. എന്റെ പ്രാര്ഥന അവിടുന്നു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞില്ല. അവിടുത്തെ സുസ്ഥിരസ്നേഹം എന്നും എന്നോടു കാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
