Aleluia! Como é bom cantar louvores ao nosso Deus; quão agradável e apropriado é louvá-lo.

O Senhor edifica Jerusalém e reúne os dispersos de Israel;
3
sara os quebrantados de coração e cura suas feridas;
4
enumera as estrelas, chamando todas pelo nome.
5
Grande é o nosso Senhor, forte em poder; não há limite para seu entendimento!
6
O Senhor ampara os humildes e rebaixa os perversos ao nível do chão.
7
Cantai ao Senhor com ações de graças; cantai louvores ao nosso Deus com a harpa!
8
Ele é quem cobre o céu de nuvens, prepara a chuva para a terra e faz crescer a vegetação sobre os montes;
9
dá alimento aos animais e aos filhos dos corvos, quando clamam.
10
Não se agrada da força do cavalo, nem dos músculos do homem.
11
O Senhor se agrada dos que o temem, dos que esperam no seu amor.
12
Louva o Senhor, Jerusalém! Louva o teu Deus, Sião!
13
Pois ele reforça as trancas das tuas portas; abençoa os habitantes que se encontram dentro de tuas muralhas.
14
Ele é quem estabelece a paz para as tuas fronteiras, quem te farta com o mais fino trigo;
15
quem envia pela terra o seu mandamento; a sua palavra corre com grande velocidade!
16
Ele dá a neve como lã, espalha a geada como cinza
17
e faz cair o seu gelo em pedaços. Quem pode suportar o seu frio?
18
Ele manda a sua palavra e os derrete; faz o vento soprar, e as águas correm.
19
Revela a Jacó sua palavra, e a Israel, seus decretos e ordenanças.
20
A nenhuma outra nação ele fez isso; elas não conhecem suas ordenanças. Aleluia!
