Ó Deus, dá teus juízos ao rei, e ao filho do rei, tua justiça,
2
para que ele julgue teu povo com justiça, e teus pobres com equidade.
3
Que as montanhas, assim como os montes, tragam ao povo prosperidade com justiça.
4
Que ele julgue os aflitos do povo, salve os filhos do necessitado e esmague o opressor.
5
Viva ele enquanto existir o sol, e enquanto durar a lua, por todas as gerações.
6
Desça como a chuva sobre a planície, como os aguaceiros que regam a terra.
7
Que a justiça floresça nos seus dias, e haja plena paz enquanto durar a lua.
8
Governe ele de mar a mar, e desde o rio até as extremidades da terra.
9
Inclinem-se diante dele seus adversários, e seus inimigos lambam o pó.
10
Paguem-lhe tributo os reis de Társis e das ilhas; os reis de Sabá e de Seba ofereçam-lhe presentes.
11
Todos os reis se prostrem perante ele; todas as nações o sirvam.
12
Porque ele livra o necessitado que clama, e também o aflito e o que não tem quem o ajude.
13
Ele se compadece do pobre e do necessitado; salva a vida dos que estão em necessidade.
14
Ele os liberta da opressão e da violência; a vida deles é preciosa aos seus olhos.
15
Tenha ele vida longa e receba ouro de Sabá; que se interceda por ele continuamente em oração, e o bendigam em todo o tempo.
16
Haja fartura de cereal na terra que ondule até o topo dos montes; seja o seu fruto como o Líbano, e floresçam habitantes nas cidades como a relva da terra.
17
Que seu nome permaneça eternamente, e sua fama continue enquanto o sol durar; nele sejam abençoados os homens; todas as nações o chamem bem-aventurado.
18
Bendito seja o Senhor Deus, o Deus de Israel, o único que faz maravilhas.
19
Bendito seja para sempre seu nome glorioso, e toda a terra encha-se da sua glória. Amém e amém.
20
