Bucurați‐vă, drepților, în Domnul. Celor drepți le stă bine lauda.
2
Mulțumiți Domnului cu harfă, cântați‐i laude din psalteriul cu zece strune.
3
Cântați‐i o cântare nouă, cântați‐i cu măiestrie, cu strigăt tare.
4
Căci cuvântul Domnului este drept și toată lucrarea sa este cu credincioșie.
5
El iubește dreptatea și judecata, pământul este plin de bunătatea Domnului.
6
Cerurile au fost făcute prin cuvântul Domnului și toată oștirea lor prin suflarea gurii sale.
7
El adună grămadă apele mării, și pune adâncurile în vistierii.
8
Tot pământul să se teamă de Domnul. Toți locuitorii lumii să se înspăimânte de el.
9
Căci el a zis și s‐a făcut, a poruncit și a fost acolo.
10
Domnul nimicește sfatul neamurilor, zădărnicește gândurile popoarelor.
11
Sfatul Domnului rămâne în veac, gândurile inimii sale din neam în neam.
12
Ferice de neamul al cărui Dumnezeu este Domnul, poporul pe care și l‐a ales de moștenire!
13
Domnul privește din ceruri, vede pe toți copiii oamenilor.
14
Din locul locuinței sale se uită peste toți locuitorii pământului:
15
El, care întocmește inima tuturor, el, care privește toate faptele lor.
16
Niciun împărat nu este mântuit prin mulțimea unei oștiri. Viteazul nu este izbăvit prin putere mare.
17
Calul este zadarnic pentru scăpare și prin marea sa putere nu va scăpa pe nimeni.
18
Iată, ochiul Domnului este peste cei ce se tem de el, peste cei ce nădăjduiesc în îndurarea sa,
19
ca să le scape sufletul de la moarte și să‐i țină vii în foamete.
20
Sufletul nostru a așteptat pe Domnul: El este ajutorul nostru și scutul nostru.
21
Căci ni se va bucura inima în el pentru că ne‐am încrezut în sfântul său nume.
22
Fie îndurarea ta, Doamne, peste noi, după cum am nădăjduit noi în tine.
