Doamne, nu mă mustra în mânia ta și nici nu mă pedepsi în urgia ta.
2
Căci săgețile tale s‐au înfipt în mine și mâna ta apasă asupra mea.
3
Nimic nu este sănătos în carnea mea de iuțimea ta; nici liniște în casele mele de păcatul meu.
4
Căci nelegiuirile mele au trecut peste capul meu; ca o sarcină grea sunt prea grele pentru mine.
5
Rănile mele miros rău, curg, din pricina nebuniei mele.
6
Sunt încovoiat și gârbovit peste măsură, toată ziua umblu în jale.
7
Căci coapsele mele sunt pline de arsură și nu este nimic sănătos în carnea mea.
8
Sunt sleit, zdrobit peste măsură, răcnesc de neliniștea inimii mele.
9
O, Doamne, înaintea ta este tot dorul meu și suspinul meu nu este ascuns de tine.
10
Inima îmi bate tare, m‐a părăsit puterea și lumina ochilor mei, nici ea nu este cu mine.
11
Iubiții mei și prietenii mei stau departe de rana mea și rudele mele s‐au așezat departe.
12
Căci cei ce caută sufletul meu mi‐au întins curse, și cei ce caută nenorocirea mea vorbesc lucruri pierzătoare și cugetă planuri toată ziua.
13
Dar eu, ca un surd, n‐aud și sunt ca un mut ce nu‐și deschide gura.
14
Da, sunt ca un om care n‐aude și în a cărui gură nu sunt mustrări.
15
Căci în tine, Doamne, nădăjduiesc: Tu vei răspunde, Doamne Dumnezeul meu!
16
Căci am zis: Să nu se bucure ei de mine! Când mi‐alunecă piciorul, ei se înalță împotriva mea.
17
Căci sunt aproape să cad și durerea mea este pururea înaintea mea.
18
Căci îmi voi mărturisi nelegiuirea, mă voi întrista de păcatul meu.
19
Dar vrăjmașii mei sunt plini de viață, sunt tari, și cei ce pe nedrept mă urăsc s‐au înmulțit.
20
Și cei ce răsplătesc cu rău pentru bine îmi sunt potrivnici pentru că urmez binele.
21
Nu mă părăsi, Doamne! Dumnezeul meu, nu te depărta de mine.
22
Grăbește‐te să‐mi ajuți, Doamne, mântuirea mea.
