O GOD, mijn hart is vastbesloten, ik zal zingen, psalmen zingen, ja, ook mijn heerlijkheid.
3
Word wakker, harp en lier! Ik zal het vroege morgenlicht wakker maken.
4
Ik zal U danken onder de volken, o HEERE, psalmen voor U zingen onder de volkeren.
5
Want uw liefdevolle vriendschap reikt hoger dan de hemelen, uw trouw tot aan de wolken.
6
O GOD, verhef U boven de hemelen, breng uw heerlijkheid over heel de aarde,
7
opdat uw geliefden bevrijd worden, breng uitredding door uw rechterhand en antwoord ons.
8
GOD heeft gesproken in zijn Heiligdom, daarom zal ik van vreugde opspringen. Ik zal Sichem verdelen, het dal van Sukkoth opmeten.
9
Gilead is van mij, Manasse is van mij, Efraïm is de sterke beschutting van mijn hoofd, Juda is mijn leidsman.
10
Moab is mijn wasvat, op Edom zal ik mijn sandaal werpen, over Filishet zal ik in gejubel uitbarsten.

Wie zal mij naar de vestingstad brengen? Wie zal mij naar Edom leiden?
12
Had U ons niet verstoten, o GOD, en met onze legermachten trok U toch niet meer uit, o GOD?
13
Kom ons te hulp, red uit de benauwdheid, want redding door een mens is vergeefs.
14
Met GOD zullen wij strijdvaardig optreden, Hij zal onze onderdrukkers vertrappen.
