Ze względu na Twego sługę, Dawida, Nie odwracaj oblicza Twego pomazańca!

JHWH przysiągł Dawidowi prawdę, Nie wycofa się z niej: Z owocu twego łona posadzę na twym tronie [następcę]!

Jeżeli twoi synowie będą strzec mego przymierza I moich postanowień, których ich nauczę, To również ich synowie – na zawsze Zasiadać będą na twoim tronie,

Ponieważ JHWH wybrał Syjon, Zapragnął mieć go na swoje mieszkanie:

To jest miejsce mojego odpoczynku na wieki; Tu zamieszkam, bo tego zapragnąłem.

Jego zaopatrzenie hojnie pobłogosławię, Jego ubogich nakarmię chlebem.

Jego kapłanów przyozdobię zbawieniem, A Jego wierni będą radośnie wiwatować,

Tam wzbudzę róg Dawidowi, Przygotuję lampę mojemu pomazańcowi.
18
Jego nieprzyjaciół okryję wstydem, Natomiast nad nim zabłyśnie jego korona.
