I nie pozywaj na sąd swego sługi, Gdyż nikt z żywych nie okaże się sprawiedliwy przed Tobą!

Tak, wróg zawziął się na mą duszę, Starł na proch moje życie; Osadził mnie w ciemności, Jak tych, którzy dawno umarli.

Omdlewa też we mnie mój duch, Trwoży się we mnie me serce.

Przypominam sobie dawne dni, Rozmyślam o wszystkich Twych czynach, Rozważam dzieło Twych rąk;
