Boże, zaśpiewam ci nową pieśń, Zagram Ci na dziesięciostrunowej harfie!

Ty dajesz królom zwycięstwo; Ochroniłeś Dawida, swego sługę, przed okrutnym mieczem.

Wyzwól mnie i ratuj mnie z ręki cudzoziemców, Których usta głoszą marność I których prawica jest prawicą zdradliwą.

Wówczas nasi synowie będą jak rośliny, Bujnie wyrosłe w swojej młodości, A nasze córki jak narożne kolumny, Wyrzeźbione na kształt ozdób pałacu!
