Modlitwa. Dawidowy. Nakłoń, JHWH, swego ucha! Odpowiedz mi, gdyż jestem nędzny i ubogi.

Strzeż mojej duszy, bo jestem pobożny. Wybaw, mój Boże, swego sługę, który Tobie ufa.

Zmiłuj się nade mną, Panie, Bo cały dzień wołam do Ciebie!

Rozwesel duszę swego sługi, Bo do Ciebie, Panie, podnoszę moją duszę!

Ty bowiem, Panie, jesteś dobry i gotów przebaczyć, Pełen łaski dla wszystkich, którzy Cię wzywają.

Nakłoń ucha, JHWH, ku mojej modlitwie I zwróć uwagę na głos mojego błagania!

Wzywam Cię w dniu mojej niedoli, Bo mnie wysłuchujesz –

Nie ma równego Tobie, Panie, pomiędzy bogami, I nie ma dzieła takiego, jak Twoje.
9
Wszystkie narody, które stworzyłeś, przybędą I pokłonią się przed Twoim obliczem, Panie, I oddadzą chwałę Twojemu imieniu.

Bo Ty jesteś wielki i dokonujesz cudów! Ty jedynie jesteś Bogiem!

Ucz mnie, Panie, swojej drogi, Będę chodził w Twojej prawdzie; Skup moje serce na bojaźni względem Twojego imienia.

Będę Cię wielbił, Panie, mój Boże, całym swoim sercem I będę chwalił Twoje imię na wieki,

Gdyż Twoja łaska względem mnie jest wielka I wybawiłeś moją duszę z najgłębszego Szeolu.

Boże, powstają przeciwko mnie zuchwalcy I zgraja okrutników czyha na mą duszę – Ciebie natomiast przed sobą nie stawiają.
15
Ale Ty, Panie, jesteś Bogiem miłosiernym i łaskawym, Nieskorym do gniewu, bogatym w łaskę i wierność.

Zwróć się ku mnie i zmiłuj się nade mną! Udziel swej mocy swojemu słudze I wybaw syna swojej służącej!

Uczyń znak, że jesteś mi przychylny, Niech go ujrzą ci, którzy mnie nienawidzą, i okryją się wstydem, Dlatego że Ty, JHWH, pomogłeś mi i że mnie pocieszyłeś.
