Psalm Dawida. JHWH, wezwałem Cię, pośpiesz do mnie! Usłysz mój głos, gdy do Ciebie wołam!

Niech się wzniesie do Ciebie moja modlitwa jak kadzidło, I uniesienie moich rąk jak ofiara wieczorna!

Postaw, JHWH, straż przy moich ustach, Pilnuj drzwi moich warg!

Nie kieruj mego serca ku złej sprawie, Ku zajmowaniu się bezbożnymi postępkami W [gronie] bezbożnych ludzi dopuszczających się bezprawia – Nie dopuść, bym się karmił ich smakołykami.

Niech mnie uderzy sprawiedliwy – to łaska, Niech mnie skarci – to olejek na głowę; Nie cofnie się przed nim moja głowa, Gdyż zawsze się modlę pomimo ich złośliwości.

Zrzuceni zostali na zbocza skały ich sędziowie, A usłyszeli moje słowa, gdyż były przyjazne.

Jak podczas orki rozrywa się ziemię, Tak nasze kości zostaną rozrzucone wokół paszczy Szeolu.

Tak, do Ciebie, JHWH, mój Panie, [wznoszę] moje oczy; W Tobie moja ucieczka, nie zostawiaj mej duszy!

Strzeż mnie od łap potrzasku, który na mnie zastawili, I od pułapek [ludzi] dopuszczających się bezprawia!
10
Niech bezbożni – jak jeden – wpadną w swoje sieci, Ja natomiast niech ich uniknę!
