Sind, Issand, ma ülistan, sest sa oled mind toonud välja hädast ega ole lasknud mu vaenlasi rõõmutseda minu pärast.

Issand, mu Jumal, ma kisendasin su poole ja sa tegid mu terveks.

Issand, sina tõid mu hinge välja surmavallast, sa elustasid mind nende hulgast, kes lähevad alla hauda.

Laulge kiitust Issandale, teie, tema vagad, ja ülistage tema püha mälestust!

Sest tema viha kestab silmapilgu, aga ta lahkus kogu eluaja; õhtul jääb nutt varaks, kuid hommikul on hõiskamine.

Aga ma mõtlesin heas põlves olles: Mina ei kõigu iialgi!

Sina muutsid mu kaebuse mulle ringtantsuks; sa vallandasid kotiriide mu seljast ja panid rõõmu mulle vööks,

et mu hing laulaks sulle kiitust ega vaikiks. Issand, mu Jumal, ma tahan sind tänada igavesti!
