„Dėkokite VIEŠPAČIUI, nes jis geras, nes jo ištikimoji meilė amžina“.

Taip tesako VIEŠPATIES atpirktieji, kuriuos jis atpirko iš vargo,
3
surinko iš svetimų šalių, iš Rytų ir Vakarų, iš Šiaurės ir Pietų.
4
Vieni klajojo dykumoje ir tyruose, bet miesto, kuriame galėtų įsikurti, nerado.
5
Alkani ir ištroškę, jie tik gyvastį nešiojo.
6
Tada būdami varge jie šaukėsi VIEŠPATIES, ir jis gelbėjo juos iš bėdų,
7
vedė tiesiu keliu, kol jie pasiekė gyvenamą miestą.
8
Tedėkoja jie VIEŠPAČIUI už jo ištikimąją meilę, už nuostabius darbus žmonijai,
9
nes jis patenkino trokštančius ir alkstančius pripildė gėrybių.
10
Kiti sėdėjo niūrioje tamsoje, belaisviai skurde ir grandinėse,
11
nes buvo maištavę prieš VIEŠPATIES žodžius ir paniekinę Aukščiausiojo užmojį.
12
Jų širdį sutramdė kančia, jie sukniubo, ir nebuvo kas padėtų.
13
Tada būdami varge jie šaukėsi VIEŠPATIES, ir jis išvadavo juos iš bėdų,
14
išvedė juos iš niūriosios tamsos ir sutraukė jų pančius.
15
Tedėkoja jie VIEŠPAČIUI už jo ištikimąją meilę, už nuostabius darbus žmonijai,
16
nes jis pralaužia vario vartus ir sunaikina geležies velkes.
17
Vieni buvo pasiligoję dėl savo nuodėmingo kelio ir už savo kaltes turėjo kentėti.
18
Į maistą jie negalėjo net pažiūrėti ir buvo netoli mirties vartų.
19
Tada būdami varge jie šaukėsi VIEŠPATIES, ir jis išvadavo juos iš bėdų,
20
siuntė savo žodį jiems išgydyti ir išgelbėti nuo pražūties.

Tedėkoja jie VIEŠPAČIUI už jo ištikimąją meilę, už nuostabius darbus žmonijai.

Teatnašauja bendravimo aukas ir teskelbia jo darbus džiugesio giesmėmis.

Kiti plaukė laivais į jūrą ir uždarbiavo didžiuose vandenyse.

Jie matė VIEŠPATIES darbus, jo nuostabius veiksmus gelmėse.
25
Jam paliepus, kilo audros ir sukėlė aukštas jūros bangas.

Jie kilo aukštyn ligi dangaus, nėrė žemyn į gelmes, ir širdis jiems stiro iš baimės.

Tarsi girti jie svirduliavo ir svyravo, suglumę nebežinodami ką daryti.

Tada būdami varge jie šaukėsi VIEŠPATIES, ir jis ištraukė juos iš bėdų,

šėlstančią audrą nuramino, ir jūros bangos buvo nutildytos.

Jie džiaugėsi nurimusia jūra, ir jis nuvedė juos į jų prekybos uostą.

Tedėkoja jie VIEŠPAČIUI už jo ištikimąją meilę, už nuostabius darbus žmonijai.

Teaukština jį tautos sueigoje, tešlovina seniūnų taryboje.

Jis pavertė upes dykuma, vandens šaltinius — išdžiūvusia žeme,
34
vešlų kraštą — druskingais pelkynais dėl jo gyventojų nedorumo.

Jis pavertė dykumą vandens tvenkiniais, išdžiūvusią žemę — srūvančiais šaltiniais.

Alkanus žmones ten apgyvendino, ir jie pasistatė miestą.

Jie sėjo laukus, veisė vynuogynus ir nuėmė gausų derlių.

Jis laimino juos, ir jų labai daugėjo, ir jų galvijų skaičiui jis neleido sumažėti.

Jie sumenko ir buvo pažeminti per priespaudą, skurdą ir kančią.

Bet tas, kuris lieja panieką ant didžiūnų ir varo juos klajoti po neįžengiamą dykynę,

išgelbėjo beturčius iš skurdo ir jų šeimas pagausino lyg kaimenes.

Dorieji tai mato ir džiaugiasi, o visų nedorėlių burnos užsičiaupia.

Išmintingas žmogus pastebės šiuos dalykus, ir mąstys apie VIEŠPATIES ištikimąją meilę.
