Psalmė. Giesmė šabo dienai.

VIEŠPATIE, kaip gera šlovinti tave, giedoti šlovės giesmes tavo vardui, Aukščiausiasis,

skelbti kas rytą tavo ištikimąją meilę, kas naktį tavo ištikimybę,
4
palydint dešimtstygei arfai, su giesme ir lyra.
5
Juk tu, VIEŠPATIE, pradžiuginai mane savo veikla, tad su džiaugsmu apgiedu tavo rankų darbus.
6
Kokie didingi tavo darbai, VIEŠPATIE, kokios gilios tavo mintys!
7
Bukas žmogus jų nežino, kvailys negali suprasti.
8
Nors nedorėliai želia kaip žolė ir visi piktadariai klestėte klesti, jų laukia amžinoji žūtis.
9
Bet tu, VIEŠPATIE, esi išaukštintas amžinai.
10
Juk tavo priešai, VIEŠPATIE, tavo priešai tikrai pražus, visi piktadariai bus išblaškyti.
11
O man tu davei laukinio jaučio jėgą ir teiki palaimą.
12
Savo akimis mačiau savo priešų sąmyšį, savo ausimis girdėjau apie užpuolikų žūtį.
13
Teisieji žaliuoja lyg palmės ir auga lyg Libano kedrai.
14
Pasodinti VIEŠPATIES Namuose, jie žaliuoja mūsų Dievo kiemuose.
15
Ir žiloje senatvėje jie neša vaisių, visada žalių ir sultingų,
16
liudydami, koks teisus VIEŠPATS — mano Uola, nes nėra jame ydos.
