Dieve, netylėk! Nebūk man kurčias ar nebylus, Dieve!

Štai maištauja tavo priešai, kelia galvas, kurie tavęs nekenčia.

Jie rengia sąmokslus prieš tavo tautą, tariasi prieš tavo globotinius.

„Eime, — sako jie, — sunaikinkime juos kaip tautą; Izraelio vardas nebebus daugiau minimas!“

Tikrai jie vieningai sąmokslauja, prieš tave sudaro sąjungą

Edomo ir izmaelitų tautos, Moabas ir hagarai,

Gebalas, Amonas, Amalekas, Filistija ir Tyro gyventojai.

Asūras irgi prie jų prisidėjo; tai stipri Loto vaikų parama. Sela.

Padaryk jiems, ką padarei Midjanui, Siserai ir Jabinui prie Kišono upės.

Tu nugalėjai juos prie En Doro, ir jų lavonai tapo mėšlu laukams.

Pasielk su jų didžiūnais kaip su Orebu ir Zeebu, su visais jų vadais kaip su Zebahu ir Calmuna.

„Užimkime Dievo pievas, — sakė jie, — ir užvaldykime!“

O mano Dieve, išblaškyk juos lyg dulkes, lyg vėjo nešamus pelus!

Kaip ugnis siaubia mišką, kaip liepsna svilina kalnus,

taip tu savo audra sek įkandin jų ir kelk jiems siaubą savo vėtra!

Taip teparausta jiems veidai iš gėdos, kad jie imtų ieškoti tavo vardo, VIEŠPATIE!
18
Tebūna nugalėti ir amžinai išgąsčio apimti, težūva visiškai sugėdinti.
19
Težino, kad tu vienas, kurio vardas VIEŠPATS, esi Aukščiausiasis visoje žemėje.
