Juk išpažįstu, kad tavo ištikimoji meilė amžina, tavo ištikimybė tvirta kaip dangaus skliautas.

Tu pasakei: „Aš sudariau Sandorą su savo išrinktuoju, prisiekiau savo tarnui Dovydui:

‘Tavo palikuonis bus visuomet karalius; patvirtinsiu tavo sostą visoms kartoms’“. Sela.

Dangus tešlovina tavo nuostabius darbus, VIEŠPATIE, tavo ištikimybę šventųjų sueigoje!

Juk kas gali padangėse prilygti VIEŠPAČIUI, kas tarp dangiškųjų būtybių panašus į VIEŠPATĮ?

Dievas kelia šiurpą šventųjų taryboje, visi jo pagarbiai bijo.

O VIEŠPATIE, Galybių Dieve, kas panašus į tave? Galingas tu, VIEŠPATIE, ir visur ištikimas!

Tu valdai šėlstančią Jūrą ir bangoms įtūžus jas sutramdai.

Tu sutraiškei Rahabą lyg lavoną, galinga ranka išblaškei savo priešus.

Tavo dangūs, tavo žemė, pasaulis ir visa, kas jame; tu tvirtai juos pastatei.
13
Šiaurę ir Pietus tu sukūrei, Taboras ir Hermonas džiugiai šlovina tavo vardą.

Koks tu galingas! Stipri tavo ranka, visa pasiekianti tavo dešinė!

Teisumas ir teisingumas — tavo sosto pamatas, gerumas ir tiesa tau tarnauja.

Kokie laimingi žmonės, mokantys džiaugsmingai tave šlovinti! Jie gyvena, VIEŠPATIE, tavo Artumo šviesoje.

Visą dieną jie džiūgauja dėl tavo vardo, ir tavo teisumas juos išaukštino.

Tu teiksi mums didžias pergales, tavo malone išaukštinta mūsų galybė.

Juk nuo VIEŠPATIES priklauso mūsų skydas, nuo Izraelio Šventojo — mūsų karalius.

Tada kalbėjai regėjime ir savo ištikimiesiems sakei: „Galiūnui uždėjau vainiką, išaukštinau išrinktąjį iš tautos.

Radau savo tarną Dovydą, patepiau jį savo šventuoju aliejumi.

Mano ranka visada bus su juo, o mano petys jį stiprins.
23
Joks priešas jo neengs nei nedorėlis nenugalės.

Sunaikinsiu jo priešus, parblokšiu visus, kurie jo nekenčia.

Jį lydės mano ištikimybė ir gerumas, o jo galybė per mano vardą bus išaukštinta.

Pajungsiu jūrą jo valdžiai, upes — jo dešinei.

Jis man sakys: ‘Tu mano Tėvas, mano Dievas, mano išganymo Uola!’

Atėmei jam iš rankos skeptrą, o jo sostą nuvertei ant žemės.

Sutrumpinai jo jaunystės dienas, užtraukei jam gėdą. Sela.

Kiek ilgai, VIEŠPATIE? Nejau slėpsies amžinai? Kiek ilgai degs lyg ugnis tavo pyktis?

Atmink, koks trumpas mano gyvenimas, kokius trapius tu sukūrei visus mirtinguosius!

Koks žmogus gali gyventi ir niekada nemirti? Kas gali išsigelbėti iš Šeolo galybės? Sela.

Kurgi, Viešpatie, tavo senoji meilė, kurią prisiekei Dovydui būdamas ištikimas?

Atmink, Viešpatie, kaip iš tavo tarno tyčiojamasi, kaip aš nešiojuosi širdyje tautų užgaules,

kuriomis tavo priešai tyčiojosi, VIEŠPATIE, kuriomis tyčiojosi iš tavo pateptojo žingsnių.

Tebūna pagarbintas VIEŠPATS per amžius! Amen! Amen!
