Asafo psalmė. Dieve, tautos užpuolė tavo paveldą, suteršė tavo Šventyklą, ir pavertė Jeruzalę griuvėsiais.

Tavo tarnų lavonus jie paliko suplėšyti paukščiams, tavo ištikimųjų kūnus — sudraskyti žemės žvėrims.

Jeruzalėje jų kraujas liejosi kaip vanduo, ir nebuvo kam jų palaidoti.

Mes tapome pasityčiojimu savo kaimynams, esame niekinami ir išjuokiami iš visų pusių.

Kodėl gi tautos turėtų sakyti: „Kurgi tas jų Dievas?“ Mums matant tepatiria tautos, kad tu atkeršiji už savo tarnų kraujo praliejimą.

Tepasiekia tave belaisvių vaitojimas; išlaisvink pasmerktuosius mirti, kaip dera tavo didžiai galybei.

Viešpatie, atmokėk mūsų kaimynams septyneriopai už visus tau mestus įžeidimus!

Tada mes, tavo tauta, tavo ganyklos kaimenė, amžinai tau dėkosime, per kartų kartas skelbsime tavo šlovę.
