Ee Mungu, umjalie mfalme uamuzi wako, umpe mwanamfalme uadilifu wako;

atawale taifa lako kwa haki, na maskini wako kwa uadilifu.

Milima ilete fanaka kwa watu wako, vilima vijae uadilifu.
4
Mfalme awatetee wanyonge wa taifa, awasaidie watoto wa fukara, na kuwaangamiza watu wadhalimu.
5
Mfalme aishi muda mrefu kama jua, na kama mwezi, kwa vizazi vyote.
6
Awe kama manyunyu yaburudishayo mashamba, kama mvua iinyweshayo ardhi.
7
Uadilifu ustawi maisha yake yote, na amani kwa wingi mpaka mwezi ukome.
8
Atawale kutoka bahari hata bahari, kutoka mto Eufrate hata mipaka ya dunia.
9
Maadui zake wakaao nyikani wanyenyekee mbele yake, washindani wake walambe vumbi.
10
Wafalme wa Tarshishi na visiwa wamlipe kodi, wafalme wa Sheba na Seba wamletee zawadi.
11
Wafalme wote wa dunia wamheshimu, watu wa mataifa yote wamtumikie.
12
Anamkomboa fukara anayemwomba, na maskini asiye na wa kumsaidia.
13
Anawahurumia watu dhaifu na fukara, anayaokoa maisha yao wenye shida.
14
Anawatoa katika udhalimu na ukatili, maana maisha yao ni ya thamani kubwa kwake.
15
Mfalme na aishi maisha marefu; apokee zawadi ya dhahabu kutoka Sheba; watu wamwombee kwa Mungu daima, na kumtakia baraka mchana kutwa.
16
Nchi na izae nafaka kwa wingi, vilima vijae mavuno kama ya Lebanoni, na watu mijini wastawi kama nyasi.
17
Jina la mfalme litukuke daima; fahari yake idumu pindi liangazapo jua. Kwake mataifa yote yabarikiwe; watu wote wamwite mbarikiwa!
18
Atukuzwe Mwenyezi-Mungu, Mungu wa Israeli, ambaye peke yake hufanya miujiza.
19
Jina lake tukufu na litukuzwe milele; utukufu wake ujae ulimwenguni kote! Amina, Amina!
20
Mwisho wa sala za Daudi, mwana wa Yese.
