Ni vema kukushukuru, ee Mwenyezi-Mungu, kuliimbia sifa jina lako, ee Mungu Mkuu.
2
Ni vema kutangaza fadhili zako asubuhi, na uaminifu wako nyakati za usiku,
3
kwa muziki wa zeze na kinubi, kwa sauti tamu ya zeze.
4
Ee Mwenyezi-Mungu, matendo yako yanifurahisha; nitashangilia kwa sababu ya mambo yote uliyotenda.
5
Matendo yako, ee Mwenyezi-Mungu, ni makuu mno! Mawazo yako ni mazito mno!
6
Mtu mpumbavu hawezi kufahamu, wala mjinga hajui jambo hili:
7
kwamba waovu waweza kustawi kama nyasi, watenda maovu wote waweza kufanikiwa, lakini mwisho wao ni kuangamia milele,
8
bali wewe, ee Mwenyezi-Mungu, u mkuu milele.
9
Hao maadui zako, ee Mwenyezi-Mungu, naam, hao maadui zako, hakika wataangamia; wote watendao maovu, watatawanyika!
10
Wewe umenipa nguvu kama nyati; umenimiminia mafuta ya kuburudisha.
11
Kwa macho nimeona maadui zangu wameshindwa; nimesikia kilio chao watendao maovu.
12
Waadilifu hustawi kama mitende; hukua kama mierezi ya Lebanoni!
13
Kama miti iliyopandwa nyumbani mwa Mwenyezi-Mungu, hustawi katika nyua za Mungu wetu;
14
huendelea kuzaa matunda hata uzeeni; daima wamejaa utomvu na wabichi;
15
wapate kutangaza kwamba Mwenyezi-Mungu ni mnyofu, Mwamba wangu, kwake hamna upotovu.
