Vir die leier van die koor: 'n Lied van Dawid

Jy wat dink jy is sterk, hoekom spog jy oor die slegte dinge wat jy doen? God doen altyd wat Hy belowe het.

Jy dink altyd hoe jy ander mense kan laat swaarkry. Jy sê dinge wat mense seermaak, jy probeer almal bedrieg.

Jy hou meer daarvan om slegte dinge te doen, jy wil nie goeie dinge doen nie. Jy hou meer daarvan om te lieg, jy wil nie die waarheid praat nie. Sela

Jy hou daarvan om mense te bedrieg, jy wil hê hulle moet verkeerd dink.
7
Maar God sal iets doen, Hy sal jou vir altyd breek. Hy sal jou uitruk uit jou woonplek, Hy sal jou laat sterf. Sela

Die mense wat reg lewe, sal dit sien en hulle sal bang word. Dan sal hulle vir hom lag en sê:

“Dit is die man wat nie wou hê dat God hom moet beskerm nie, die man wat gedink het al sy baie goed sal hom help.”
10
Maar ek? Ek is soos 'n groen olyfboom, ek is in die tempel. Ek is seker dat God altyd sal doen wat Hy belowe het.
11
O God, ek sal aanhou om vir U dankie te sê vir wat U gedoen het. Ek sal sê U is goed, ek sal dit doen sodat die mense my kan hoor, die mense wat in U glo.
