Die Here is Koning. Die aarde moet juig, die baie eilande moet bly wees.

Niemand sien die Here nie, daar is donker wolke rondom Hom, maar Hy doen reg en Hy oordeel reg wanneer Hy regeer.

Wanneer Hy kom, dan is daar 'n vuur voor Hom, en dit verbrand sy vyande rondom Hom.

Sy weerligstrale maak die wêreld lig. Die aarde sien dit en bewe.

Die berge smelt voor die Here, voor die Here van die hele aarde.
6
Die hemel bring die nuus dat die Here reg doen, al die volke sien dat Hy Koning is.
7
Almal wat beelde dien, voel verneder, almal wat gespog het oor goed wat niks beteken nie, almal wat gespog het oor al die gode wat nou voor die Here moet buig.

Sion hoor dit en is bly, al die stede van Juda juig omdat U, Here, die vyande gestraf het.

Ja, Ú, Here, U is belangriker as almal op die hele aarde, U is baie belangriker as al die gode.
10
Die mense wat lief is vir die Here, moet slegte dinge haat. Die Here beskerm die mense wat in Hom glo. Hy red hulle van die mense wat verkeerd doen.
11
Daar is baie lig in die lewe van mense wat reg doen, eerlike mense sal altyd bly wees.
12
Mense wat reg doen, julle moet bly wees omdat julle aan die Here behoort. Julle moet vir Hom dankie sê omdat julle sy heilige Naam ken.
