Dumnezeule, inima mea este pregătită: voi cânta și voi produce sunete (plăcute) cu instrumentele mele. „Sufletul meu, trezește-te!

Harpă și liră, treziți-vă!” Voi trezi lumina care apare înainte să răsară soarele.

„Doamne, Te voi lăuda printre popoare. Îți voi cânta printre celelalte națiuni;
4
pentru că bunătatea Ta este mai înaltă decât cerul; iar consecvența caracterului Tău trece de nori!
5
Dumnezeule, doresc să fii înălțat deasupra cerului; și gloria Ta să fie peste întregul pământ!
6
Pentru ca oamenii foarte iubiți de Tine să fie salvați, oferă-mi ajutorul Tău acționând cu dreapta Ta; și răspunde-mi!”
7
Dumnezeu care este sfânt, a vorbit, zicând: „Voi triumfa; voi împărți Șehemul și voi măsura valea Sucot!
8
Ghiladul este al Meu. Tot al Meu este și Manase. Efraim este coiful Meu; iar Iuda este sceptrul Meu!
9
Moab este vasul în care Mă spăl! Deasupra Edomului Îmi arunc încălțămintea; iar strigătele Mele de victorie se aud peste Filistia.”

Cine mă va conduce în orașul fortificat? Cine mă va îndruma să ajung până în Edom?
11
Oare nu Tu, Dumnezeul care ne-ai respins? Dumnezeule, oare nu ne vei ajuta Tu, deși nu Te mai aliezi cu armatele noastre?
12
Ajută-ne împotriva dușmanului; pentru că susținerea omului este fără efect!
13
Cu Dumnezeu vom fi învingători; și El îi va călca în picioare pe dușmanii noștri!
