Dumnezeule, nu tăcea! Să nu taci și să nu rămâi mut, Doamne!

Dușmanii Tăi se scandalizează; și cei care Te urăsc, își ridică fruntea (încruntată împotriva noastră).
3
Complotează împotriva poporului Tău. Ei fac planuri împotriva celor care sunt protejați de Tine,
4
zicând: „Să mergem să îi distrugem ca popor; și să nu mai fie amintit numele lui Israel!”
5
Aceștia sunt cei care au decis în unanimitate să ratifice un legământ împotriva Ta:
6
(cei care locuiesc în) corturile Edomului și ismaeliții, Moabul și hagareniții,
7
Ghebal, Amon și Amalec; apoi Filistia și locuitorii Tirului.
8
Li s-a alăturat și Asiria, participând (la acest complot) împreună cu fiii lui Lot.
9
Fă să se întâmple cu ei așa cum s-a întâmplat cu Midian, cu Sisera și cu Iabin – la pârâul Chișon,
10
când au fost distruși la En-Dor și au ajuns îngrășământ pentru pământ!
11
Fă să se întâmple cu oamenii lor bogați ce s-a întâmplat cu Oreb și cu Zeeb. Comportă-Te cu prinții lor exact cum ai procedat cu Zebah și cu Țalmuna;
12
pentru că ei zic: „Haideți să acaparăm pășunile lui Dumnezeu!”
13
Dumnezeul meu, fă-i un vârtej de praf și o pleavă pe care o ia vântul.
14
Adu Tu un foc ce consumă pădurea și o flacără care aprinde munții!
15
Așa să îi urmărești cu furtuna Ta și să îi sperii cu vijelia Ta!
16
Doamne, umple-le fața de rușine, ca să fie determinați să caute numele Tău!
17
Să fie obligați să le fie rușine și să îi afecteze mereu panica! Să fie rușinați și să dispară!
18
Să știe astfel că Tu – care Te numești Iahve – și numai Tu ești Cel Foarte Înalt peste întregul pământ!
