Îl voi lăuda pe Iahve în orice vreme. Gura mea va pronunța mereu laude la adresa Lui!
2
Sufletul meu se laudă în Iahve! Să audă și să se bucure oamenii modești!
3
Glorificați pe Iahve împreună cu mine! Să onorăm toți numele Lui!
4
L-am căutat pe Iahve; și El mi-a răspuns. M-a salvat de toate lucrurile de care îmi era frică.
5
Cei care privesc spre El, se luminează; iar fețele lor nu li se umplu de rușine.
6
Omul chinuit a strigat spre Iahve. El l-a auzit și l-a scăpat de toate necazurile lui.
7
Îngerul lui Iahve își organizează tabăra în jurul celor care se tem de El; și îi salvează.
8
Gustați și vedeți cât de bun este Iahve! Acela care se încrede în El, este un om fericit!
9
Voi, care sunteți sfinții Lui, temeți-vă de El; pentru că cei care se tem de Iahve, nu sunt privați de niciun lucru bun!
10
Puii de leu nu au hrană; și flămânzesc. Dar celor care se tem de Iahve, nu le lipsește nimic.
11
Fiilor, apropiați-vă și ascultați-mă; iar eu vă voi învăța frica de Iahve!
12
Cine este omul care dorește să beneficieze de zile bune în viața pe care o trăiește?
13
Acela să aibă grijă ca limba lui să nu pronunțe ceva rău; și să își ferească buzele de cuvinte înșelătoare!
14
Să renunțe la rău și să facă ce este bine! Să caute pacea și să o urmărească;
15
pentru că ochii lui Iahve îi privesc pe oamenii corecți, iar urechile Lui aud strigătul lor.
16
Dar fața lui Iahve este împotriva celor care comit ce este rău, ca să le șteargă amintirea de pe pământ.
17
Când strigă oamenii corecți, Iahve îi aude și îi salvează din toate necazurile lor.
18
Iahve este aproape de oamenii cu inima afectată de durere (emoțională) și îi salvează pe cei care sunt extenuați în spiritul lor.
19
Omul corect ajunge în multe dificultăți; dar Iahve îl salvează din toate!
20
El îi păzește toate oasele; și nici măcar unul nu îi va fi rupt.
21
Răul pe care îl comite omul nedrept, îi va aduce moartea; și oamenii care îl urăsc pe cel corect, vor fi pedepsiți.
22
Iahve îi răscumpără pe slujitorii Săi; și niciunul dintre credincioșii Lui nu este condamnat.
