Obnov nás, Bože, rozjasni svoju tvár a budeme zachránení!

Hospodin, Boh zástupov, dokiaľ sa budeš hnevať napriek modlitbe svojho ľudu?

Kŕmil si ich chlebom sĺz, z čaše plnej sĺz si ich napájal.
7
Urobil si nás predmetom sporu našich susedov, naši nepriatelia si z nás robia posmech.
8
Obnov nás, Boh zástupov, rozjasni svoju tvár a budeme zachránení.
9
Vinič si vzal z Egypta, vyhnal si národy a zasadil si ho.
10
Pripravil si mu pôdu, zapustil korene a rozrástol sa po krajine.
11
Svojím tieňom zahalil vrchy, svojimi ratolesťami Božie cédre.
12
Svoje vetvy vyhnal až k moru a výhonky až k Rieke30.
13
Prečo si zbúral jeho ohrady? Aby ho kmásali všetci, čo idú povedľa?

Diviak z lesa ho obžiera a poľná zver ho spása.
15
Vráť sa, Boh zástupov, zhliadni z neba, pozri, ujmi sa tohto viniča,

kmeňa, ktorý zasadila tvoja pravica, syna, ktorého si vychoval.
17
Tí, čo ho vypálili a obsekali, nech zahynú pred hrozbou tvojho pohľadu.
18
Drž ruku nad mužom svojej pravice, nad synom človeka, ktorého si si vychoval.
19
Neodstúpime od teba, zachovaj nás pri živote a budeme vzývať tvoje meno.
20
Obnov nás, Hospodin, Boh zástupov, rozjasni svoju tvár a budeme zachránení!
