Dobre je chváliť Hospodina, ospevovať tvoje meno, Najvyšší;

hneď zrána hlásať tvoju milosť a tvoju vernosť v noci
4
hudbou na desaťstrunnej lutne, na harfe za zvuku citary.
5
Potešil si ma, Hospodin, svojimi skutkami; plesám nad dielami tvojich rúk.
6
Aké veľkolepé sú tvoje diela, Hospodin, aké nesmierne hlboké tvoje myšlienky!
7
Nerozumný človek o tom nič nevie, obmedzenec to nechápe.
8
Aj keď bezbožníci rastú ako tráva a všetci zločinci prekvitajú, predsa sú určení na večnú záhubu.
9
Ty však, Hospodin, večne si vyvýšený.
10
Veď tvoji nepriatelia, Hospodin, veď tvoji nepriatelia zahynú. Všetci zločinci budú rozohnaní.
11
Môj roh si vyvýšil ako roh byvola, pomazal si ma čerstvým olejom.
12
Moje oko pozoruje odporcov, moje uši počujú o tých, čo broja proti mne.
13
Spravodlivý prekvitá ako palma, košatie ako libanonský céder.
14
Tí, čo sú zasadení v dome Hospodina, budú prekvitať na nádvoriach nášho Boha.
15
Aj v šedinách prinesú plody, zostanú svieži a čerství,
16
aby hlásali, že Hospodin je priamy, je mojou skalou, neprávosti v ňom niet.
