Släkte efter släkte lovprisar dina verk och berättar om dina väldiga gärningar.

Jag begrundar din härlighet, din glansfulla majestät och dina mirakler.

De talar om kraften i dina respektingivande gärningar. Och jag berättar om din storhet.

De sprider ryktet om din rika godhet och jublar över din rättfärdighet.

Herren är nåderik och barmhärtig, tålmodig och kärleksfull.

Herren är god mot alla, och hans barmhärtighet täcker allt han skapat.

Herre, hela din skapelse tackar dig, och dina heliga prisar dig.

De talar om ditt rikes härlighet och berättar om din makt.
12
De gör känt för människosläktet dina mäktiga gärningar, och ditt rikes ärofyllda majestät.
13
Ditt rike är ett evigt rike, ditt välde består genom alla släkten.

Herren bistår alla som faller och reser upp alla betryckta.
15
Alla riktar sin blick mot dig, och du ger dem deras mat i rätt tid.
16
Du öppnar din hand och mättar allt levandes begär.
17
Herren är rättfärdig på alla sina vägar och nådefull i allt han gör.
18
Herren är nära alla som ropar till honom, alla som uppriktigt ropar till honom.
19
Åt dem som fruktar honom ger han vad de önskar. Han hör deras rop och hjälper dem.
20
Herren bevakar alla som älskar honom, men han utrotar alla onda.
21
Min mun ska lovprisa Jahve. Allt levande: lova hans heliga namn i all evighet!
