Jag vill tacka Jahve av hela mitt hjärta. Jag vill berätta om alla dina mirakler.

Jag vill glädjas och fröjdas i dig. Jag vill lovsjunga ditt namn, du den Högste.

När mina fiender viker tillbaka faller de och går under inför dig.
5
För du gav mig rätt i min sak. Du satte dig på tronen och avkunnade en rättfärdig dom.

Du straffade länderna, du dödade de onda, du utplånade deras namn för evigt.
7
Fienden har mött sitt slut under eviga ruiner, du ödelade deras städer. Minnet av dem är utplånat.

Men Herren tronar för evigt och har förberett sin tron för dom.

Han dömer världen med rättfärdighet, han dömer folken rättvist.

Jahve är en fästning för de förtryckta, en fästning i tider av nöd.

De som känner ditt namn förtröstar på dig, för du överger inte dem som söker dig, Jahve.

Lovsjung Herren som tronar i Sion, berätta för folken om hans gärningar.

Han som hämnas mördare minns offren, han glömmer inte de nödställdas rop.

Herre, visa mig nåd! Se hur jag lider av dem som hatar mig. Du lyfter mig bort från dödens portar,
