Mataifa yote yalinizunguka, lakini kwa jina la Yawe nikayaangamiza!

Yalinizunguka kila upande, lakini kwa jina la Yawe, nikayaangamiza!

Yalinizunguka, mengi kama nyuki, lakini yakateketea kama kichaka ndani ya moto; kwa jina la Yawe niliyaangamiza!

Nilishambuliwa sana karibu nishindwe, lakini Yawe alinisaidia.

Yawe ni nguvu yangu kubwa; yeye mwenyewe ndiye wokovu wangu.

Munifungulie milango ya watu wa haki, niingie na kumushukuru Yawe!

Huu ndio mulango wa Yawe, watu wa haki watapitia humo.

Ninakushukuru, ee Yawe, kwa kunijibu; kwa sababu wewe ni wokovu wangu.

Abarikiwe huyu anayekuja kwa jina la Yawe! Tunawabariki kutoka katika nyumba ya Yawe.

Yawe ni Mungu; yeye ametujalia mwangaza wake. Mushike matawi katika mikono, mukiandamana mpaka kwenye mazabahu.

Wewe ni Mungu wangu, ninakushukuru; ninakutukuza, ee Mungu wangu.

Mumushukuru Yawe kwa sababu ni muzuri, kwa maana wema wake unadumu milele.
