Wimbo wa safari za kidini. Ee Yawe, umukumbuke Daudi, kumbuka taabu zote alizopata.

Ukumbuke ahadi aliyokupa, ee Yawe, ndicho kiapo alichokuapia, ewe Mwenye Nguvu wa Yakobo. Alisema:
3
“Sitaingia ndani ya nyumba yangu, wala kulala ndani ya kitanda changu,
4
sitakubali kulala usingizi, wala kusinzia,
5
mpaka nikutayarishie wewe Yawe nafasi ya kukaa, ndiyo makao yako, ewe Mwenye Nguvu wa Yakobo!”
6
Tulisikia wakisema: “Sanduku la Agano ni kule Efurata, tulilikuta katika mashamba ya Yearimu.”
7
Basi! Tuende kwa nyumba ya Mungu, tuabudu mbele ya kiti chake cha kifalme!
8
Simama sasa, ee Yawe, ukuje kwenye pumziko lako, pamoja na Sanduku la Agano la uwezo wako!
9
Makuhani wako wakuwe watu wa haki siku zote; na waaminifu wako wapige vigelegele vya furaha!
10
Kwa ajili ya Daudi, mutumishi wako, usimukatae huyo mufalme uliyemuchagua.
11
Yawe alimwapia Daudi kiapo cha hakika, kiapo hiki ambacho hatakivunja: “Nitamuweka mumoja wa wazao wako mwenyewe, kuwa mufalme nyuma yako.
12
Watoto wako wakishika agano langu, na kufuata maagizo nitakayowapa, watoto wao pia watakuwa wafalme kama wewe milele.”
13
Yawe ameuchagua Sayuni, ametaka ukuwe makao yake.
14
Yeye anasema: “Hapa ndipo nitakapokaa milele, ndipo makao yangu, maana nimepachagua.
15
Nitaubariki Sayuni kwa mahitaji yake; nitawashibisha chakula wamasikini wake.
16
Nitawavalisha makuhani wake katika wokovu, waaminifu wake watapiga vigelegele vya furaha.
17
Humo nitamuchipukiza mufalme shujaa wa ukoo wa Daudi. Kama vile taa inayowaka, nitamwimarisha mufalme niliyemuchagua.
18
Waadui zake nitawavalisha haya; lakini yeye nitamuvalisha utukufu wa kifalme.”
