Maten hennar vil eg velsigna, dei fattige vil eg metta med brød,

prestane hennar kler eg i frelse, dei trugne skal ropa av fryd.

Der lèt eg eit horn veksa fram for David, eg steller til ei lampe for den eg har salva.

Fienden vil eg kle i skam, men på han skal krona stråla.»
