Sæle er dei som bur i ditt hus, dei skal alltid lova deg. Sela

Sæle er dei som har sin styrke i deg, dei som lengtar etter å fara opp til tempelet.

Når dei fer gjennom dalen med baka-tre, gjer dei han til ei kjelde. Haustregnet legg òg si signing over han.

Dei går frå kraft til kraft, dei stig fram for Gud på Sion.

HERRE, allhærs Gud, høyr mi bøn, vend øyret til, du Jakobs Gud! Sela

Gud, vårt skjold, vend auga hit, sjå på han du har salva!

Ja, éin dag i dine føregardar er betre enn tusen andre. Å liggja ved dørstokken til min Guds hus er betre enn å bu i lovlauses telt.

For HERREN Gud er sol og skjold, HERREN gjev nåde og ære. Han held ikkje tilbake det gode for den som er heil i si ferd.

HERRE Sebaot, sæl er den som set si lit til deg.
