Halleluja! Det er godt å spela for vår Gud, det er herleg, det er rett å syngja lovsong.

HERREN byggjer Jerusalem og samlar Israels spreidde folk.

Han lækjer dei som har eit sundbrote hjarte, og bind om såra deira.
4
Han veit kor mange stjernene er, og gjev alle namn.
5
Vår Herre er stor og rik på kraft, hans forstand er utan grenser.
6
HERREN held dei hjelpelause oppe, men bøyer dei urettferdige til jorda.
7
Syng lovsong for HERREN, spel på lyre for vår Gud.
8
Han dekkjer himmelen med skyer, syter for regn til jorda og lèt graset spira på fjella.
9
Han gjev føde til dyra, til ramnungane som ropar.
10
Han bryr seg ikkje om hestens kraft og gleder seg ikkje over mannens musklar.
11
HERREN gleder seg over dei som fryktar han og ventar på hans miskunn.
12
Syng HERRENS pris, Jerusalem, Sion, lovsyng din Gud!
13
Han gjer portbommane dine sterke og velsignar borna i byen.
14
Han gjev fred i landet, han mettar deg med det beste kveitekornet.
15
Han sender sin bodskap til jorda, snøgt spring hans ord.
16
Han lèt snøen falla som ull, han strør ut rim som oske.
17
Han kastar hagl som smular, kven kan stå seg mot hans kulde?
18
Så sender han sitt ord, og alt smeltar, han pustar, og vatnet strøymer.
19
Han kunngjorde sitt ord for Jakob, sine forskrifter og lover for Israel.
20
Slik gjorde han ikkje for noko anna folk, dei kjenner ikkje hans lover. Halleluja!
