Ele cura os de coração atribulado e trata-lhes as feridas!

Ele fixa o número das estrelas e chama a cada uma pelo seu nome.

Grande e poderoso é o nosso Deus; a sua sabedoria não tem limites.

O Senhor ampara os humildes, mas abate os malfeitores até ao chão.

Cantai ao Senhor com gratidão; cantai ao nosso Deus ao som da harpa.

Ele cobre de nuvens o céu e para a terra prepara as chuvas, que fazem crescer as ervas nos montes.

Ele dá de comer aos animais e aos filhotes dos corvos, quando gritam.
10
Não é o vigor do cavalo que lhe agrada, nem é a força do guerreiro que Ele prefere.

Ao Senhor agradam os que o temem, aqueles que confiam no seu amor.
12
Glorifica, Jerusalém, o Senhor; louva, Sião, o teu Deus.
13
Ele reforçou os ferrolhos das tuas portas e abençoou os teus filhos dentro de ti;
14
Ele estabeleceu a paz nas tuas fronteiras e saciou-te com a flor do trigo.
15
Ele manda as suas ordens à terra, e a sua palavra corre velozmente;
16
faz cair a neve, branca como a lã, espalha a geada como se fosse cinza;
17
faz cair o granizo como migalhas de pão; com o seu frio, quem pode resistir?
18
Envia a sua palavra e o gelo derrete-se; faz soprar o vento e correm as águas.
19
Ele revela os seus planos a Jacob, os seus preceitos e as suas sentenças a Israel.
20
Não fez assim com nenhum outro povo, não lhes deu a conhecer os seus mandamentos. Aleluia!*
