Louve o SENHOR, ó minha alma! Que todo o meu ser louve o seu santo nome!

Quero louvar o SENHOR com toda a minha alma e não me esquecer de nenhuma das suas bênçãos!

É ele quem perdoa todos os meus pecados e cura todas as minhas doenças.
4
É ele quem me salva da morte e quem me coroa com amor e compaixão.
5
É ele quem me enche com coisas boas, e renova a minha vida como a da águia.
6
O SENHOR faz justiça, ele defende a causa dos oprimidos.
7
Deus revelou os seus planos a Moisés, e deixou que o povo de Israel visse as suas maravilhas.
8
O SENHOR é misericordioso e compassivo, é paciente e cheio de amor.
9
Ele não nos acusa por toda a vida, nem a sua ira dura para sempre.
10
Ele não nos dá o castigo que merecemos quando pecamos, nem nos paga conforme os nossos pecados e maldades.
11
Pois assim como é grande a altura entre o céu e a terra, assim é grande o seu amor por aqueles que o temem.
12
Assim como o Oriente está afastado do Ocidente, assim também Deus afasta os nossos pecados de nós.
13
Assim como um pai trata com amor os seus filhos, assim o SENHOR trata aqueles que o temem.
14
Deus sabe do que somos feitos, lembra-se que somos pó.
15
A vida do ser humano é como a erva; floresce como a flor do campo,
16
mas morre assim que o vento sopra sobre ela, e ninguém se lembra que um dia existiu nem do lugar onde estava.
17
Mas o SENHOR sempre amou aqueles que o temem e vai continuar amando-os para sempre e bondoso com os seus descendentes.
18
Ele vai ser bom para com aqueles que guardam a sua aliança e obedecem sempre aos seus mandamentos.
19
O SENHOR estabeleceu o seu trono no céu, o seu reino se estende sobre tudo o que existe.
20
Anjos, louvem o SENHOR! Vocês são soldados poderosos, que ouvem as suas ordens e lhe obedecem.
21
Louvem o SENHOR todos os seus exércitos, servos que cumprem a sua vontade.
22
Louvem o SENHOR, toda a sua criação, em todo o seu reino. Louve o SENHOR, ó minha alma!
