Como é bom agradecer ao SENHOR, cantar louvores ao seu nome, ó Altíssimo!

Como é bom proclamar pela manhã o seu amor e à noite, a sua fidelidade,

ao som da lira e da cítara, e com a música suave da harpa.

Pois tudo o que fez, SENHOR, me dá grande alegria! As suas obras me fazem cantar de felicidade!
5
Maravilhosas são as suas obras, SENHOR, e profundos, os seus pensamentos.
6
Os tolos não entendem estas coisas, nem os insensatos as compreendem.
7
Mesmo que os pecadores cresçam como a erva e os maus floresçam, eles serão destruídos para sempre.
8
Pois o SENHOR é exaltado para sempre.
9
Os seus inimigos, SENHOR, serão destruídos, os infiéis serão derrotados!
10
O Senhor me deu a força de um touro selvagem e me refrescou derramando óleo novo sobre mim.
11
Os meus olhos irão ver a derrota dos meus inimigos. Ouvirei os gritos de angústia dos que se voltaram contra mim.
12
Os bons florescem como as palmeiras, crescem como os cedros do Líbano.
13
Eles são como árvores plantadas no templo do SENHOR, que dão bons frutos nos pátios do nosso Deus.
14
Como árvores novas e fortes, eles continuam dando frutos mesmo na velhice,
15
e proclamando que o SENHOR é justo. Ele é a minha rocha e nele não há injustiça.
