Não a nós, ó SENHOR, não a nós! Ao Senhor, e só ao Senhor, seja dada toda a glória. Pois só o Senhor tem amor verdadeiro, só o Senhor é sempre fiel.

Por que as nações nos perguntam: “Onde está o seu Deus?”

O nosso Deus está no céu; ele faz o que lhe agrada!
4
Os ídolos deles são de ouro e de prata, foram feitos pelos homens.
5
Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, mas não veem.
6
Têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; têm nariz, mas não cheiram.
7
Têm mãos, mas não apalpam; têm pés, mas não andam. Das suas gargantas não sai qualquer som.
8
Que sejam como os seus ídolos, aqueles que os fizeram e os que neles confiam.
9
Ó israelitas, confiem no SENHOR! Porque ele ajuda e protege.
10
Confiem no SENHOR, ó sacerdotes, descendentes de Aarão. Porque ele ajuda e protege.
11
Todos os que temem o SENHOR, confiem nele! Porque ele ajuda e protege.
12
O SENHOR se lembra de nós e nos abençoará; ele abençoará os israelitas e os sacerdotes, os filhos de Aarão.
13
Ele abençoará todos os que temem o SENHOR, desde o mais humilde até o mais importante.
14
Que o SENHOR multiplique os seus filhos, e os filhos deles.
15
Que o SENHOR, o Criador dos céus e da terra, abençoe vocês!
16
Os céus pertencem ao SENHOR, mas a terra ele deu aos seres humanos.
17
Os mortos, os que desceram ao mundo do silêncio, não louvam o SENHOR.
18
Mas nós louvaremos o SENHOR, agora e para sempre. Aleluia!
