Aquele que habita no abrigo do Altíssimo, descansará na sombra protetora do Todo-Poderoso.

Digo ao SENHOR: “O Senhor é o meu refúgio e a minha fortaleza. Eu confio no Senhor, pois é o meu Deus”.

Deus guardará você dos perigos escondidos e da peste mortal.
4
Ele protegerá você com as suas asas, você estará seguro debaixo delas. Deus é fiel, ele será o seu escudo e a sua muralha protetora.
5
Não tenha medo dos perigos da noite, nem das flechas lançadas de dia.
6
Não tema a peste que se espalha na escuridão, nem os males que matam à luz do dia.
7
Mesmo que mil pessoas caiam mortas à sua esquerda, e dez mil, à sua direita, nenhum mal lhe acontecerá.
8
Olhe e verá que os maus receberão o castigo que merecem.
9
Se você confiar no SENHOR como o seu refúgio, e no Altíssimo como a sua proteção,
10
nenhum mal lhe acontecerá, nenhuma peste chegará a sua tenda.
11
Porque Deus dará ordem aos seus anjos para protegerem você em todos os seus caminhos.
12
Com as suas mãos, eles o segurarão para que nenhuma pedra faça você tropeçar.
13
Você pisará no leão e na cobra, triunfará sobre o leão feroz e a serpente.
14
Deus diz: “Porque ele me ama, eu o salvarei; porque ele é fiel, eu o protegerei.
15
Quando ele me chamar, eu responderei, e estarei com ele quando estiver em dificuldades. Eu irei livrá-lo e fazer com que todos o honrem.
16
Irei recompensá-lo com uma vida longa, e lhe mostrarei a minha salvação”.
