Aur yih jang Sáúl par niháyat bhárí ho gayí, aur tírandázoṉ ne use já liyá, aur wuh tírandázoṉ ke sabab se saḳht mushkil meṉ paṛ gayá.

Tab Sáúl ne apne siláhbardár se kahá, Apní talwár kheṉch, aur us se mujhe chhed de, tá na ho ki yih námaḳhtún áeṉ, aur mujhe chhed leṉ, aur mujhe be‘izzat kareṉ. Par us ke siláhbardár ne aisá karná na cháhá, kyúṉki wuh niháyat ḍar gayá thá; is liye Sáúl ne apní talwár lí, aur us par girá.

Jab us ke siláhbardár ne dekhá, ki Sáúl mar gayá, to wuh bhí apní talwár par girá, aur us ke sáth mar gayá.

So Sáúl, aur us ke tínoṉ beṭe, aur us ká siláhbardár, aur us ke sab log, usí din ek sáth mar miṭe.

Jab un Isráílí mardoṉ ne jo us wádí kí dúsrí taraf aur Yardan ke pár the, yih dekhá ki Isráíl ke log bhág gaye, aur Sáúl aur us ke beṭe mar gaye, to wuh shahroṉ ko chhoṛkar bhág nikle; aur Filistí áe, aur un meṉ rahne lage.

So unhoṉ ne us ká sir káṭ liyá, aur us ke hathyár utár liye, aur Filistíoṉ ke mulk men qásid rawána kar diye, táki un ke butḳhánoṉ aur logoṉ ko yih ḳhushḳhabarí pahuṉchá deṉ.

So unhoṉ ne us ke hathyároṉ ko ‘Istárát ke mandir meṉ rakkhá: aur us kí lásh ko Baitshán kí díwár par jaṛ diyá.

Jab Yabís Jili‘ád ke báshindoṉ ne is ke báre meṉ wuh bát jo Filistíoṉ ne Sáúl se kí suní,

to sab bahádur uṭhe, aur rátoṉ rát jákar Sáúl aur us ke beṭoṉ kí lásheṉ Baitshán kí díwár par se le áe, aur Yabís meṉ pahuṉchkar waháṉ un ko jalá diyá;

aur un kí haḍḍiyáṉ lekar Yabís meṉ jháú ke daraḳht ke níche dafn kíṉ, aur sát din tak roza rakkhá.
