Tab Qaryat Ya‘rím ke log áe, aur Ḳhudáwand ke sandúq ko lekar Abínadáb ke ghar meṉ jo ṭíle par hai láe, aur us ke beṭe Ilí‘azar ko muqaddas kiyá, ki wuh Ḳhudáwand ke sandúq kí nigahbání kare.

Aur jis din se sandúq Qaryat Ya‘rím meṉ rahá, tab se ek muddat ho gayí ya‘ní bís baras guzre, aur Isráíl ká sárá gharáná Ḳhudáwand ke píchhe nauha kartá rahá.

Aur Samúel ne Isráíl ke sáre gharáne se kahá, ki Agar tum apne sáre dil se Ḳhudáwand kí taraf rujú‘ láte ho, to ajnabí deotáoṉ aur ‘Istárát ko apne bích se dúr karo, aur Ḳhudáwand ke liye apne diloṉ ko musta‘idd karke faqat usí kí ‘ibádat karo; aur wuh Filistíoṉ ke háth se tum ko riháí degá.

Tab baní Isráíl ne Ba‘lím aur ‘Istárát ko dúr kiyá, aur faqat Ḳhudáwand kí ‘ibádat karne lage.

Phir Samúel ne kahá, ki Sab Isráíl ko Misfáh meṉ jama‘ karo, aur maiṉ tumháre liye Ḳhudáwand se du‘á karúṉgá.

So wuh sab Misfáh meṉ faráham húe, aur pání bharkar Ḳhudáwand ke áge unḍelá, aur us din roza rakkhá, aur waháṉ kahne lage, ki Ham ne Ḳhudáwand ká gunáh kiyá hai. Aur Samúel Misfáh meṉ baní Isráíl kí ‘adálat kartá thá.

Aur jab Filistíoṉ ne suná, ki baní Isráíl Misfáh meṉ faráham húe haiṉ, to un ke sardároṉ ne baní Isráíl par chaṛháí kí. Aur jab baní Isráíl ne yih suná, to wuh Filistíoṉ se ḍare.

Aur baní Isráíl ne Samúel se kahá, ki Ḳhudáwand hamáre Ḳhudá ke huzúr hamáre liye faryád karná na chhoṛ, táki wuh ham ko Filistíoṉ ke háth se bacháe.

Aur Samúel ne ek dúdh pítá barra liyá, aur use púrí soḳhtaní qurbání ke taur par Ḳhudáwand ke huzúr guzráná; aur Samúel baní Isráíl ke liye Ḳhudáwand ke huzúr faryád kartá rahá, aur Ḳhudáwand ne us kí suní.

Aur jis waqt Samúel us soḳhtaní qurbání ko guzrán rahá thá, us waqt Filistí Isráílíon se jang karne ko nazdík áe: lekin Ḳhudáwand Filistíoṉ ke úpar usí din baṛí kaṛak ke sáth garjá, aur un ko ghabrá diyá, aur unhoṉ ne Isráílíoṉ ke áge shikast kháí.

Aur Isráíl ke logoṉ ne Misfáh se nikalkar Filistíoṉ ko ragedá, aur Bait Karr ke níche tak unheṉ márte chale gaye.

Tab Samúel ne ek patthar lekar use Misfáh aur Shen ke bích meṉ nasb kiyá, aur us ká nám Aban‘azar yih kahkar rakkhá, ki Yaháṉ tak Ḳhudáwand ne hamárí madad kí.

So Filistí mag̣lúb húe, aur Isráíl kí sarhadd meṉ phir na áe: aur Samúel kí zindagí bhar Ḳhudáwand ká háth Filistíoṉ ke ḳhiláf rahá.

Aur ‘Aqrún se Ját tak ke shahr jin ko Filistíoṉ ne Isráílíoṉ se le liyá thá, wuh phir Isráílíoṉ ke qabze meṉ áe, aur Isráílíoṉ ne un kí nawáhí bhí Filistíoṉ ke háth se chhuṛáí. Aur Isráílíoṉ aur Amoríoṉ meṉ sulh thí.

Aur Samúel apní zindagí bhar Isráílíoṉ kí ‘adálat kartá rahá.
16
Aur wuh sál ba sál Baitel aur Jiljál aur Misfáh meṉ daura kartá, aur un sab maqámoṉ meṉ baní Isráíl kí ‘adálat kartá thá.
17
Phir wuh Rámah ko lauṭ átá, kyúṉki waháṉ us ká ghar thá, aur waháṉ Isráíl kí ‘adálat kartá thá; aur wahíṉ us ne Ḳhudáwand ke liye ek mazbah banáyá.
