Non pas à nous, Seigneur, non pas à nous, mais à ton nom donne gloire, à cause de ta fidélité, à cause de ta loyauté!

Pourquoi les nations diraient-elles: Où donc est leur Dieu?

Notre Dieu est au ciel, il fait tout ce qu'il veut.
4
Leurs idoles sont de l'argent et de l'or, œuvre de mains humaines.
5
Elles ont une bouche et ne parlent pas, elles ont des yeux et ne voient pas,
6
elles ont des oreilles et n'entendent pas, elles ont un nez et ne sentent pas.
7
Elles ont leurs mains et ne palpent pas, elles ont leurs pieds et ne marchent pas, aucun murmure ne sort de leur gosier.
8
Ils leur ressemblent, ceux qui les font, tous ceux qui mettent leur confiance en elles!

Israël, mets ta confiance dans le Seigneur! – Il est leur secours et leur bouclier.

Maison d'Aaron, mets ta confiance dans le Seigneur! – Il est leur secours et leur bouclier.

Vous qui craignez le Seigneur, mettez votre confiance dans le Seigneur! – Il est leur secours et leur bouclier.

Le Seigneur se souvient de nous: il bénira, il bénira la maison d'Israël, il bénira la maison d'Aaron,
13
il bénira ceux qui craignent le Seigneur, les petits et les grands;
14
le Seigneur vous donnera l'accroissement, à vous et à vos fils.
15
Soyez bénis du Seigneur, qui fait le ciel et la terre!
16
Le ciel est le ciel du Seigneur, mais il a donné la terre aux êtres humains.
17
Ce ne sont pas les morts qui louent le Seigneur (Yah), ni aucun de ceux qui descendent dans le lieu du silence;
18
mais nous, nous bénirons le Seigneur (Yah), dès maintenant et pour toujours. Louez le Seigneur!
