Chantez pour le Seigneur un chant nouveau! Chante pour le Seigneur, terre entière!

Chantez pour le Seigneur, bénissez son nom, annoncez jour après jour la bonne nouvelle de son salut!

Dites parmi les nations sa gloire, racontez parmi tous les peuples ses actes étonnants!
4
Car le Seigneur est grand et digne de toute louange: il est redoutable, plus que tous les dieux;
5
car tous les dieux des peuples sont des faux dieux, mais c'est le Seigneur (YHWH) qui a fait le ciel.
6
L'éclat et la magnificence sont devant lui, la puissance et la splendeur sont dans son sanctuaire.
7
Clans des peuples, donnez au Seigneur, donnez au Seigneur gloire et puissance!
8
Donnez au Seigneur la gloire de son nom! Apportez des offrandes, entrez dans les cours de son temple!
9
Prosternez-vous devant le Seigneur quand éclate sa sainteté. Tremble devant lui, terre entière!
10
Dites parmi les nations: C'est le Seigneur (YHWH) qui est roi! – Ainsi le monde est ferme, il ne vacille pas. – Il juge les peuples avec droiture.
11
Que le ciel se réjouisse, que la terre soit dans l'allégresse! Que la mer retentisse, avec tout ce qui s'y trouve!
12
Que la campagne exulte, avec tout ce qui s'y trouve, que tous les arbres des forêts poussent des cris de joie
13
devant le Seigneur, car il vient! Car il vient pour juger la terre; il jugera le monde avec justice, il jugera les peuples par sa constance.
