Cluinn m’ùrnaigh, a Thighearna; èisd rim athchuingean ann ad fhìrinn, freagair mi ann ad cheartas;

Agus na tig ann am breitheanas led òglach; oir ann ad fhianais chan fhìreanaichear duine beò air bith.
3
Oir gheur‐lean an nàmhaid m’anam; bhuail e mo bheatha sìos gu làr; thug e orm còmhnaidh a ghabhail ann an dorchadas, mar iadsan a bha fada marbh.
4
Uime sin chlaoidheadh mo spiorad annam; tha mo chridhe briste an taobh a‑staigh dhìom.
5
Is cuimhne leam na làithean o chian; tha do ghnìomharan gu lèir a’ teachd am aire; tha mi a’ beachd‐smaoineachadh air obair do làmh.
6
Shìn mi mo làmhan riutsa; tha m’anam, mar thalamh tartmhor, an geall ort. Selah.
7
Eisd rium gu grad, a Thighearna; chaidh as dom spiorad; na falaich do ghnùis orm, air eagal gum bi mi cosmhail riùsan a thèid sìos don t‑sloc.
8
Thoir orm do choibhneas gràidh a chluinntinn anns a’ mhadainn, oir annadsa chuir mi mo dhòigh; thoir orm gun aithnich mi an t‑slighe anns an còir dhomh imeachd, oir riutsa tha mi a’ togail suas m’anama.
9
Teasairg mi om naimhdean, a Thighearna; ad ionnsaigh‐sa teichidh mi.
10
Teagaisg dhomh do thoil a dhèanamh, oir is tu mo Dhia; treòraicheadh do spiorad math mi gu tìr an ionracais.
11
Air sgàth d’ainme, a Thighearna, beòthaich thusa mi; trìd d’fhìreantachd saor m’anam o theinn;
12
Agus trìd do thròcair geàrr as mo naimhdean, agus sgrios iadsan uile a tha a’ claoidh m’anama, oir is mi d’òglach.
