A dh’fhalaicheas nèamh le neòil, a dh’ullaicheas uisge don talamh, a bheir air feur fàs suas air na slèibhtean.

Bheir esan a bhiadh don ainmhidh, do na fithich òga a ghoireas.
10
Ann an neart an eich cha bhi a dhùil; ann an casan fir cha ghabh e tlachd.
11
Gabhaidh an Tighearna tlachd anntasan don eagal e, a chuireas an dòigh na thròcair.
12
Mol an Tighearna, a Ierusaleim; mol do Dhia, a Shion;
13
Oir neartaich e cruinn do gheatachan; bheannaich e do chlann an taobh a‑staigh dhìot.
14
Nì e sìth ad chrìochan; sàsaichidh e thu le smior a’ chruithneachd.
15
Cuiridh e a‑mach a àithne air thalamh; gu luath ruithidh a fhacal.
16
Bheir e sneachd mar olainn; sgaoilidh e an liath‐reodhadh mar luaithre.
17
Tilgidh e a‑mach a eigh mar ghreamannan; cò a dh’fhaodas seasamh fa chomhair a fhuachd?
18
Cuiridh e a‑mach a fhacal, agus leaghaidh e iad; sèididh a’ ghaoth, sruthaidh na h‑uisgeachan.
19
Foillsichidh e a fhacal do Iàcob, a reachdan agus a bhreitheanais do Israel.
20
Cha do bhuin e mar seo ri cinneach sam bith; cha mhò a b’aithne dhaibh a bhreitheanais. Molaibh‐se an Tighearna.
