Annadsa, a Thighearna, cuiridh mi mo dhòigh; nàire na biodh orm am feasd.

Ad cheartas teasairg mi, agus thoir orm dol as; aom do chluas rium, agus saor mi.
3
Bi‑sa ad charraig làidir dhomh, a‑chum an rachainn a‑ghnàth; dh’àithn thu mi a bhith air mo shaoradh, oir is tu mo charraig agus mo dhaingneach.
4
O mo Dhia, thoir fuasgladh dhomh à làimh an aingidh, à làimh an duine eucoraich agus an‑iochdmhoir;
5
Oir is tusa mo dhòchas, a Thighearna Dhè, mo dhòigh om òige.
6
Leatsa chumadh mise suas on bhroinn; à innibh mo mhàthar bhuin thu mi; ortsa bidh mo mholadh an còmhnaidh.
7
Mar adhbhar iongantais tha mi aig mòran, ach is tusa mo thèarmann làidir.
8
Lìonar mo bheul led mholadh, led urram‐sa gach là.
9
Na tilg uat mi an àm seann aoise; nuair a dh’fhàilnicheas mo neart, na trèig mi.
10
Oir labhair mo naimhdean am aghaidh; agus ghabh iadsan a tha a’ feitheamh nam fàth air m’anam, comhairle le chèile,
11
Ag ràdh, Thrèig Dia e; leanaibh e gu teann, agus glacaibh e, oir chan eil neach ann a shaoras e.
12
A Dhè, na bi‑sa fada uam; O mo Dhia, greas gum chobhair.
13
Biodh nàire, biodh claoidh air eascairdean m’anama; còmhdaichear le masladh agus le mì‑chliù iadsan a tha ag iarraidh m’uilc.
14
Ach sìor earbaidh mise, agus cuiridh mi rid chliù uile.
15
Aithrisidh mo bheul d’fhìreantachd, air feadh an là do shlàinte, ged nach aithne dhomh an àireamh.
16
Thèid mi air m’aghaidh ann an neart an Tighearna Dia; nì mi sgeul air d’fhìreantachd, d’fhìreantachd fhèin a‑mhàin.
17
O Dhè, theagaisg thu mi om òige, agus gu ruige seo chuir mi d’obraichean iongantach an cèill.
18
Agus a‑nis, nuair a tha mi sean agus liath, a Dhè, na trèig mi; gus an cuir mi an cèill do neart don àl seo, do gach àl ri teachd do chumhachd.
19
Agus tha d’fhìreantachd‐sa, a Dhè, ro‑àrd, O thusa a rinn nithean mòra, A Dhè, cò as cosmhail riut.
20
A nochd dhomh teanntachdan mòra agus cruaidhe, a bheothaicheas mi a‑rìs, agus o dhoimhneachdan na talmhainn a bheir mi a‑nìos a‑rìs?
21
Meudaichidh tu mo mhòrachd, agus air gach taobh bheir thu sòlas dhomh.
22
Uime sin molaidh mise thu air an t‑saltair, seadh, d’fhìrinn‐sa, mo Dhia; seinnidh mi dhut air a’ chlàrsaich, O Aoin naoimh Israeil.
23
Nì mo bhilean mòr‐ghàirdeachas nuair a sheinneas mi dhut, agus m’anam a shaor thu.
24
Labhraidh mar an ceudna mo theanga air d’fhìreantachd air feadh an là, oir chuireadh amhluadh, oir chuireadh nàire orrasan a tha ag iarraidh m’aimhleis.
