Is ionmhainn leis ceartas agus breitheanas; de mhaitheas an Tighearna tha an talamh làn.

Le facal an Tighearna rinneadh na nèamhan, agus le anail a bheòil an slòigh uile.
7
Càrnaidh e suas mar thòrr uisgeachan na fairge; cuiridh e an doimhne suas na thaighean‐tasgaidh.

Ron Tighearna biodh eagal air an talamh uile; roimhesan biodh fiamh air luchd‐àiteachaidh an domhain;

Oir labhair e agus bha e ann; dh’àithn e, agus sheas e.

Rinn an Tighearna comhairle nan cinneach faoin; thug e innleachdan an t‑sluaigh gu neoni.

Seasaidh comhairle an Tighearna gu sìorraidh, smuaintean a chridhe o linn gu linn.
12
Is beannaichte an cinneach sin aig a bheil an Tighearna na Dhia dhaibh, an sluagh a roghnaich e mar oighreachd dha fhèin.
13
O na nèamhan amhaircidh an Tighearna a‑nuas; chì e uile chlann nan daoine.
14
O ionad seasmhach a chòmhnaidh beachdaichidh e air uile luchd‐àiteachaidh na talmhainn.
15
Chùm esan an cridhe air aon dòigh; bheir e fa‑near an gnìomharan uile.
16
Cha tèarnar rìgh le meud a fheachd; cha saorar laoch le meud a neirt.
17
Is dìomhain an t‑each a‑chum tèarainteachd, agus le meud a neirt cha saor e.
18
Feuch, tha sùil an Tighearna orrasan don eagal e, orrasan a chuireas an dòchas na thròcair,

A‑chum an anam a theasairginn on bhàs, agus an cumail beò anns a’ ghorta.
20
Feithidh ar n‑anam air an Tighearna; is esan ar cobhair agus ar sgiath.
21
Oir annsan nì ar cridhe gàirdeachas, a chionn na ainm naomh‐san gun do chuir sinn ar dòigh.
22
Gu robh do thròcair, a Thighearna, oirnn, a rèir mar a chuir sinn ar dòchas annad.
