Aur Músá ne baní Isráíl ke qabíloṉ ke sardároṉ se kahá, ki Jis bát ká Ḳhudáwand ne hukm diyá hai, wuh yih hai, ki

Jab koí mard Ḳhudáwand kí mannat máne, yá qasam khákar apne úpar koí ḳháss farz ṭhahráe, to wuh apne ‘ahd ko na toṛe; balki jo kuchh us ke muṉh se niklá hai, use púrá kare.

Aur agar koí ‘aurat Ḳhudáwand kí mannat máne, aur apní naujawání ke dinoṉ meṉ, apne báp ke ghar hote húe, apne úpar koí farz ṭhahráe,

aur us ká báp us kí mannat aur us ke farz ká hál, jo us ne apne úpar ṭhahráyá hai, sunkar chup ho rahe; to wuh sárí mannateṉ, aur sáre farz, jo us ‘aurat ne apne úpar ṭhahráe haiṉ, qáim raheṉge.

Lekin agar us ká báp, jis din yih sune, usí din use mana‘ kare; to us kí koí mannat, yá koí farz, jo us ne apne úpar ṭhahráyá hai, qáim nahíṉ rahegá: aur Ḳhudáwand us ‘aurat ko ma‘zúr rakkhegá, kyúṉki us ke báp ne use ijázat nahíṉ dí.

Aur agar kisí ádmí se us kí nisbat ho jáe, háláṉki us kí mannateṉ, yá muṉh kí niklí húí bát, jo us ne apne úpar farz ṭhahráí hai, ab tak púrí na húí ho;
7
aur us ká ádmí yih hál sunkar us din us se kuchh na kahe, to us kí mannateṉ qáim raheṉgí, aur jo báteṉ us ne apne úpar farz ṭhahráí haiṉ, wuh bhí qáim raheṉgí.

Lekin agar us ká ádmí, jis din yih sab sune, usí din use mana‘ kare, to us ne goyá us ‘aurat kí mannat ko aur us ke muṉh kí niklí húí bát ko, jo us ne apne úpar farz ṭhahráí thí, toṛ diyá; aur Ḳhudáwand us ‘aurat ko ma‘zúr rakkhegá.

Par bewa aur mutalaqqa kí mannateṉ aur farz ṭhahráí húí báteṉ qáim raheṉgí.
10
Aur agar us ne apne shauhar ke ghar hote húe kuchh mannat mání, yá qasam khákar apne úpar koí farz ṭhahráyá ho,
11
aur us ká shauhar yih hál sunkar ḳhámosh rahá ho, aur use mana‘ na kiyá ho, to us kí mannateṉ aur sáre farz, jo us ne apne úpar ṭhahráe, qáim raheṉge.
12
Par agar us ke shauhar ne, jis din yih sab suná, usí din use bátil ṭhahráyá ho, to jo kuchh us ‘aurat ke muṉh se us kí mannatoṉ aur ṭhahráe húe farz ke báre meṉ niklá hai, wuh qáim nahíṉ rahegá: us ke shauhar ne un ko toṛ ḍálá hai; aur Ḳhudáwand us ‘aurat ko ma‘zúr rakkhegá.

Us kí har mannat ko aur apní ján ko dukh dene kí har qasam ko us ká shauhar cháhe to qáim rakkhe, yá agar cháhe to bátil ṭhahráe.

Par agar us ká shauhar roz ba roz ḳhámosh hí rahe, to wuh goyá us kí sárí mannatoṉ, aur ṭhahráe húe farzoṉ ko qáim kar detá hai: us ne un ko qáim yúṉ kiyá, ki jis din se sab suná wuh ḳhámosh hí rahá.

Par agar wuh un ko sunkar ba‘d meṉ un ko bátil ṭhahráe, to wuh us ‘aurat ká gunáh uṭháegá.
16
Shauhar aur bíwí ke darmiyán, aur báp beṭí ke darmiyán, jab beṭí naujawání ke aiyám meṉ báp ke ghar ho, in hí áín ká hukm Ḳhudáwand ne Músá ko diyá.
