Halleluja! Ja, det er godt å prise vår Gud, det sømmer seg med vakker lovsang.

Herren bygger Jerusalem og samler Israels spredte folk.

Han leger dem som har et knust hjerte, og forbinder deres verkende sår.
4
Han fastsetter stjernenes tall og gir dem alle navn.
5
Stor er vår Herre og rik på kraft, hans innsikt er uten grense.
6
De hjelpeløse holder han oppe, de onde bøyer han til jorden.
7
Syng takkesang for Herren, spill på lyren for vår Gud.
8
Han dekker himmelen med skyer, sørger for regn til jorden og lar gresset gro på åsene.
9
Herren gir føde til dyrene, til ravnunger som skriker.
10
Han bryr seg ikke om hestens styrke og har ingen glede av rappfotet mann.
11
Herren har behag i dem som frykter ham og venter på hans miskunn.
12
Lovpris Herren, Jerusalem, syng lovsang, Sion, for din Gud!

Han gjør dine portbommer sterke og velsigner dine barn.
14
Han gir lykke og fred i ditt land. og metter deg med den beste hvete.
15
Han sender sitt ord til jorden, hurtig løper hans ord.
16
Han lar snøen falle som ull, strør rimet ut som støv.
17
Han kaster sine hagl som smuler; hvem kan stå seg mot hans kulde?
18
Han sender sitt ord og smelter snøen, lar vinden blåse så vannet renner.
19
Han forkynte sitt ord for Jakob, sine forskrifter og dommer for Israel.
20
Det har han ikke gjort for andre folk, de kjenner ikke hans dommer. Halleluja!
