Wuh kalám jo Ḳhudáwand ne Bábul aur Kasdíoṉ ke mulk kí bábat Yarmiyáh nabí kí ma‘rifat farmáyá.

Qaumoṉ meṉ i‘lán karo, aur ishtihár do, aur jhanḍá khaṛá karo; manádí karo, poshída na rakkho: kah do, ki Bábul le liyá gayá, Bel ruswá húá, Marúdak sarásíma ho gayá; us ke but ḳhajil húe, us kí múrateṉ toṛí gayíṉ.

Kyúṉki shimál se ek qaum us par chaṛhí chalí átí hai, jo us kí sarzamín ko ujáṛ degí, yaháṉ tak ki us meṉ koí na rahegá: wuh bhág nikle, wuh chal diye, kyá insán kyá haiwán.
4
Ḳhudáwand farmátá hai, un dinoṉ meṉ balki usí waqt baní Isráíl áeṉge; wuh aur baní Yahúdáh ikaṭṭhe rote húe chaleṉge, aur Ḳhudáwand apne Ḳhudá ke tálib hoṉge.

Wuh Siyyún kí taraf mutawajjih hokar us kí ráh púchheṉge, ki Áo, ham Ḳhudáwand se milkar us se abadí ‘ahd kareṉ, jo kabhí farámosh na ho.
6
Mere log bhaṭkí húí bheṛoṉ kí mánind haiṉ: un ke charwáhoṉ ne un ko gumráh kar diyá, unhoṉ ne un ko paháṛoṉ par le jákar chhoṛ diyá: wuh paháṛoṉ se ṭíloṉ par gaye, aur apne árám ká makán bhúl gaye haiṉ.

Sab jinhoṉ ne un ko páyá un ko nigal gaye: aur un ke dushmanoṉ ne kahá, Ham qusúrwár nahíṉ haiṉ; kyúṉki unhoṉ ne Ḳhudáwand ká gunáh kiyá hai, wuh Ḳhudáwand jo maskan i sadáqat aur un ke bápdádá kí ummedgáh hai.

Bábul meṉ se bhágo, aur Kasdíoṉ kí sarzamín se niklo, aur un bakroṉ kí mánind ho jo galloṉ ke áge áge chalte haiṉ.

Kyúṉki dekh, maiṉ shimál kí sarzamín se baṛí qaumoṉ ke amboh ko barpá karúṉgá, aur Bábul par chaṛhá láúṉgá: aur wuh us ke muqábil saffárá hoṉge; waháṉ se us par qabza kar leṉge: un ke tír kárázmúda bahádur ke se hoṉge, jo ḳhálí háth nahíṉ lauṭtá.

Kasdistán lúṭá jáegá; use lúṭnewále sab ásúda hoṉge, Ḳhudáwand farmátá hai.
11
Ai merí mírás ko lúṭnewálo, chúṉki tum shádmán aur ḳhush ho, aur dáonewálí bachhiyá kí mánind kúdte pháṉdte aur táqatwar ghoṛoṉ kí mánind hinhináte ho;
12
is liye tumhárí máṉ niháyat sharminda hogí; tumhárí wálida ḳhajálat uṭháegí: dekho, wuh qaumoṉ meṉ sab se áḳhirí ṭhahregí, aur biyábán o ḳhushk zamín aur registán hogí.
13
Ḳhudáwand ke qahr ke sabab se wuh ábád na hogí, balki bi’lkull wírán ho jáegí: jo koí Bábul se guzregá, hairán hogá, aur us kí sab áfatoṉ ke bá‘is suskáregá.
14
Ai sab tírandázo, Bábul ko gherkar us ke ḳhiláf saffáráí karo; us par tír chaláo; tíroṉ ko dareg̣ na karo: kyúṉki us ne Ḳhudáwand ká gunáh kiyá hai.
15
Use gherkar tum us par lalkáro; us ne itá‘at manzúr kar lí; us kí bunyádeṉ dhas gayíṉ; us kí díwáreṉ gir gayíṉ: kyúṉki yih Ḳhudáwand ká intiqám hai; us se intiqám lo; jaisá us ne kiyá, waisá hí tum us se karo.

Bábul meṉ har ek bonewále ko, aur use jo dirau ke waqt daráṉtí pakṛe káṭ ḍálo: zálim kí talwár kí haibat se har ek apne logoṉ meṉ já milegá, aur har ek apne watan ko bhág jáegá.

Isráíl paráganda bheṛoṉ kí mánind hai: sheroṉ ne use ragedá hai: pahle sháh i Asúr ne use khá liyá; aur phir yih sháh i Bábul Nabúkadrazar us kí haḍḍiyoṉ tak chabá gayá.

Is liye, Rabb u’l afwáj, Isráíl ká Ḳhudá, yúṉ farmátá hai, ki Dekh, maiṉ sháh i Bábul aur us ke mulk ko sazá dúṉgá, jis tarah maiṉ ne sháh i Asúr ko sazá dí hai.

Lekin maiṉ Isráíl ko phir us ke maskan meṉ láúṉgá, aur wuh Karmil aur Basan meṉ charegá, aur us kí ján koh i Ifráím aur Jili‘ád par ásúda hogí.

Ḳhudáwand farmátá hai, Un dinoṉ meṉ aur usí waqt Isráíl kí badkirdárí ḍhúṉḍhe na milegí; aur Yahúdáh ke gunáhoṉ ká patá na milegá: kyúṉki jin ko maiṉ báqí rakkhúṉgá, un ko mu‘áf karúṉgá.

Marátáím kí sarzamín par aur Fiqod ke báshindoṉ par chaṛháí kar: use wírán kar, aur un ko bi’lkull nábúd kar, Ḳhudáwand farmátá hai; aur jo kuchh maiṉ ne tujhe farmáyá hai, us sab ke mutábiq ‘amal kar.

Mulk meṉ laṛáí aur baṛí halákat kí áwáz hai.
23
Tamám dunyá ká hathauṛá kyúṉkar káṭá aur toṛá gayá! Bábul qaumoṉ ke darmiyán kaisá já e hairat húá!
24
Maiṉ ne tere liye phandá lagáyá, aur ai Bábul, tú pakṛá gayá, aur tujhe ḳhabar na thí: terá patá milá, aur tú giriftár ho gayá; kyúṉki tú ne Ḳhudáwand se laṛáí kí hai.

Ḳhudáwand ne apná siláhḳhána kholá, aur apne qahr ke hathyároṉ ko nikálá hai: kyúṉki Kasdíoṉ kí sarzamín meṉ Ḳhudáwand Rabb u’l afwáj ko kuchh karná hai.

Sire se shurú‘ karke us par chaṛho, aur us ke ambárḳhánoṉ ko kholo: us ko khanḍar kar ḍálo, aur us ko nest karo: us kí koí chíz báqí na chhoṛo.
27
Us ke sab bailoṉ ko zabh karo; un ko maslaḳh meṉ jáne do; un par afsos! ki un ká din á gayá; un kí sazá ká waqt á pahuṉchá.
28
Sarzamín i Bábul se faráríoṉ kí áwáz! wuh bhágte aur Siyyún meṉ Ḳhudáwand hamáre Ḳhudá ke intiqám, ya‘ní us kí haikal ke intiqám, ká i‘lán karte haiṉ.

Tírandázoṉ ko bulákar ikaṭṭhá karo, ki Bábul par jáeṉ; sab kamándároṉ ko har taraf se us ke muqábil ḳhaimazan karo: waháṉ se koí bach na nikle: us ke kám ke muwáfiq us ko badla do; sab kuchh jo us ne kiyá us se karo: kyúṉki us ne Ḳhudáwand Isráíl ke Quddús ke huzúr bahut takabbur kiyá.

Is liye us ke jawán bázároṉ meṉ gir jáeṉge, aur sab jangí mard us din káṭ ḍále jáeṉge, Ḳhudáwand farmátá hai.
31
Ai mag̣rúr, dekh, maiṉ terá muḳhálif húṉ; Ḳhudáwand Rabb u’l afwáj farmátá hai: kyúṉki terá waqt á pahuṉchá, háṉ, wuh waqt jab maiṉ tujhe sazá dúṉ.
32
Aur wuh ghamanḍí ṭhokar kháegá, wuh giregá, aur koí use na uṭháegá: aur maiṉ us ke shahroṉ meṉ ág bhaṛkáúṉgá, aur wuh us kí tamám nawáhí ko bhasam kar degí.
33
Rabb u’l afwáj yúṉ farmátá hai, ki Baní Isráíl aur baní Yahúdáh donoṉ mazlúm haiṉ: aur un ko asír karnewále un ko qaid meṉ rakhte haiṉ, aur chhoṛne se inkár karte haiṉ.

Un ká chhuṛánewálá zoráwar hai; Rabb u’l afwáj us ká nám hai: wuh un kí púrí himáyat karegá, táki zamín ko ráhat baḳhshe, aur Bábul ke báshindoṉ ko pareshán kare.
35
Ḳhudáwand farmátá hai, ki Talwár Kasdíoṉ par aur Bábul ke báshindoṉ par, aur us ke umará aur hukamá par hai.
36
Láfzanoṉ par talwár hai, wuh bewuqúf ho jáeṉge: us ke baháduroṉ par talwár hai, wuh ḍar jáeṉge.
37
Us ke ghoṛoṉ aur rathoṉ aur sab mile jule logoṉ par jo us meṉ haiṉ talwár hai, wuh ‘auratoṉ kí mánind hoṉge: us ke ḳhazánoṉ par talwár hai, wuh lúṭe jáeṉge.
38
Us kí nahroṉ par ḳhushksálí hai, wuh súkh jáeṉgí: kyúṉki wuh taráshí húí múratoṉ kí mamlukat hai, aur wuh butoṉ par shefta haiṉ.
39
Is liye dashtí darande gídaṛoṉ ke sáth waháṉ baseṉge, aur shutrmurg̣ us meṉ baserá kareṉge: aur wuh phir abad tak ábád na hogí; pusht dar pusht koí us meṉ sukúnat na karegá.
40
Jis tarah Ḳhudá ne Sadúm aur ‘Amúrah aur un ke áspás ke shahroṉ ko ulaṭ diyá, Ḳhudáwand farmátá hai; usí tarah koí ádmí waháṉ na basegá, na ádamzád us meṉ rahegá.
41
Dekh, shimálí mulk se ek guroh átí hai; aur intihá e zamín se ek baṛí qaum aur bahut se bádsháh barangeḳhta kiye jáeṉge.
42
Wuh tírandáz o nezabáz haiṉ; wuh saṉgdil o berahm haiṉ; un ke na‘roṉ kí sadá samundar kí sí hai, wuh ghoṛoṉ par sawár haiṉ: ai duḳhtar i Bábul, wuh jangí mardoṉ kí mánind tere muqábil saffáráí karte haiṉ.

Sháh i Bábul ne un kí shuhrat suní hai, us ke háth ḍhíle ho gaye: wuh zachche kí mánind musíbat aur dard meṉ giriftár hai.
44
Dekh, wuh sher i babar kí tarah Yardan ke jangal se nikalkar muhkam bastí par chaṛh áegá: par maiṉ achának us ko waháṉ se bhagá dúṉgá; aur apne barguzída ko us par muqarrar karúṉgá; kyúṉki mujh sá kaun hai? kaun hai jo mere liye waqt muqarrar kare? aur wuh charwáhá kaun hai, jo mere muqábil khaṛá ho sake?

Pas Ḳhudáwand kí maslahat ko jo us ne Bábul ke ḳhiláf ṭhahráí hai, aur us ke iráde ko jo us ne Kasdíoṉ kí sarzamín ke ḳhiláf kiyá hai, suno; Yaqínan un ke galle ke sab se chhoṭoṉ ko bhí ghasíṭ le jáeṉge: yaqínan un ká maskan bhí un ke sáth barbád hogá.

Bábul kí shikast ke shor se zamín káṉptí hai, aur faryád ko qaumoṉ ne suná hai.
